Former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields is no longer just going after the Donald Trump campaign for defamation, now she’s firing at Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg and his wife.
The PBC State Attorney’s Office decided it would not prosecute Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski on battery charges after he grabbed Fields at a press conference.
Fields told CNN in an interview on Sunday that she got a raw deal.
“All of it is just really weird,” said Fields. “You look at the prosecutor’s and his wife’s social media. They are at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s resort, all of the time.”
“You look at the prosecutor’s wife owns a PR firm,” Fields continued. “You look at the PR firm’s website and she talks about why you should work with her PR firm because she has lots of great working relationships. And the first picture is of her and Donald Trump and her and Melania Trump.”
“I can’t speak for anyone else, but if I were a prosecutor and my wife was trying to monetize her relationship with Donald Trump,” Fields said. “And it’s right there on her website, and they’re partying all the time at Mar-a-Lago, I would recuse myself from the situation and the case.”
Fields is referring to Aronberg’s wife, Lynn, and her public relations company “Lynn Aronberg Public Relations,” where she does, in fact, have photos with Trump and at least one photo with Melania Trump on her website.
The Aronbergs live in Palm Beach County and attend social, charity and political events regularly.
In response to Fields’ complaint, Lynn Aronberg told BPR, “Donald Trump and his family and companies have never been clients of mine. I have a number of pictures with clients and non-clients on my website.”
Mrs. Aronberg has photos with other celebrities and politicians, like former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Sen. Marco Rubio R-Fl, Carly Fiorina and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
In the weeks leading up to the decision, it was reported that Mr. Aronberg was a Hillary supporter and people were up in arms that he would be unfair to Trump.
