It looks like some GOP senators are rooting for the opposite team this election season.

Senator Jim Risch, R-Idaho, took to CNN today to bash GOP front-runner Donald Trump and elucidate to Wolf Blitzer that he would never support the New York businessman, according to the Hill.

Risch went on to slightly boost Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton by saying that her defeat of Trump would be something for the history books.

“The defeat Donald Trump would face against Hillary Clinton would probably be epic and historical,” Risch told CNN. “I’m not going to support him.”

Risch, who previously backed Fla. Sen. Marco Rubio, said he is now being forced to get behind Sen. Ted Cruz since Ohio Gov. John Kasich is too far behind in the delegate count.

“Obviously, Kasich is so far behind that it’s hard for him to get the numbers,” Risch said. “By process of elimination, that leaves you with Cruz. At this point, there’s no other option.”
