The mainstream media loves to promote the equality of women, that is, as long as women are liberal.
In a round-table interview with a group of conservative-minded women who said they were all supporting GOP front-runner Donald Trump for president, CNN treated each with what seemed like disdain for their views.
The CNN reporter first asked the women “Why?” with a puzzled look on his face. One woman responded, “He really does love his country, he loves people. He really has a respect for women.”
The reporter followed up the woman’s response with “To non-Trump supporters, that may seem ridiculous given the things Trump has said and done,” noting his feud with Sen. Ted Cruz involving their wives.
“This latest incident involving the wife does not change your support,” the reporter asked.
“This kind of thing, mud-slinging, isn’t new to politics,” another woman responded.
After mentioning every disparaging remark Trump has said about a handful of particular women, the CNN reporter brought up Trump’s most prominent spat with Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
“He’s been baited, he’s been baited by Megyn Kelly,” one woman said as the reporter interrupted her to ask, “You really think that, you think he’s been baited?”
She continued by saying, “Come on. The first question that was asked by her at that first debate was to bait Donald Trump and to get him in a place where he would react.”
