How Cruz is preparing to take Florida; could Rubio come in last in his own state?

Ted Cruz means business.

It looks as though the Texas senator is attempting to wrestle Florida’s 99 delegates out of the hands of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and businessman Donald Trump, who also has a strong Florida presence.

And that 10 was quickly updated.

The Rubio camp said, not so fast — Florida’s my state!

It could be a matter of too little, too late for Cruz — early voting in Florida began March 5 and hundreds of thousands have already cast their ballots.

And then there’s the Trump factor. Even if Trump loses in Florida, he could still walk away with all the marbles before the GOP convention.
