NEW ‘smoking gun’ emails on Hillary Clinton’s server even ‘more restricted than Top Secret’

Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge reported Tuesday that the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email controversy has taken a turn for the worse — for the former secretary of state, that is.

Clinton’s private email server contained information that was even more restricted than Top Secret, “the government’s most secretive and classified operations known as Special Access Programs,” which are “highly restricted and on a need-to-know basis only,” Herridge said.

“These are the crown jewels of the American intelligence community,” former CIA agent Charles Faddis said. “If this information is compromised, we’re going to suffer very serious national security damage. People are going to die, quite frankly.”

This revelation became a topic for Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” panel Tuesday.

“Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Tucker Carlson called this the “smoking gun” of Clinton’s email scandal, and observed that it wasn’t information reported by conservative media, but rather, “an investigator who works in the Obama executive branch.”

He added that the American intelligence community is of the belief that Clinton’s server “was penetrated by foreign intelligence services.”

Nationally syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said “this is worse than what [Edward] Snowden did, because he didn’t have access to SAP.”

He added that because this information came from the inspector general of the intelligence community, there is no way to refute it.

Now that it’s “in the hands of the FBI,” he said, “it’s hard to imagine that the Department of Justice will ignore this or waive it away.”
