California Sen. Kamala Harris apparently has no idea what job a judge is supposed to do.
The liberal senator said on social media that she won’t vote for Judge Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme court because he values “legalisms over real lives.”
Judge Gorsuch has consistently valued legalisms over real lives. I won’t support his nomination. https://t.co/7SLAOI6MXx

The translation of that statement is that Sen. Harris doesn’t like the fact that Judge Gorsuch adjudicates cases based on the law and not his feelings.
But considering that clueless Kamala is from a party that also legislates based on feelings, her tweet is not a surprise.
@SenKamalaHarris You mean he respects the actual law and doesn’t insert his personal interpretations or opinions? It’s like he’s a real judge or something!

@SenKamalaHarris you mean he respected the rule of law instead of ruling by passion? That’s… what all judges should do.

@SenKamalaHarris And that is EXACTLY what a judge should do. They are beholden to the Constitution; not your feelings.

@SenKamalaHarris I’m guessing you never really understood why “Lady Justice” is blindfolded?
— Josh Walrath (@JoshDWalrath) March 24, 2017
@SenKamalaHarris Yes!! Because as we all know, a jurist should disregard the law and focus on “real lives” and stuff!!

We’re a nation of laws, not a nation of feels.
You truly do intend to make this a long 6 years. https://t.co/Mvr6FVf6qp
