Florida teacher gets ‘reassigned’ for making pro-Trump Facebook status praising deportation

A Florida teacher has been reassigned after she wrote a Facebook status supporting President Donald Trump’s travel ban.

Veronica Fleming was removed from her role as a computer lab teacher and assigned to administrative duties after she wrote that “glad about massive deportation” because it means there will be “less mouths to feed.”

The principal at Parkside Elementary School, where Fleming works and where the students are 96 percent minorities, learned about her writing after parents called the school to complain, according to NBC 2.

The matter was given to the deputy superintendent and human resources who decided to reassign her while they investigate.

The teacher wrote the message along with an article she shared from the Chicago Tribune about immigrants protesting the president and his immigration policies.

It is believed that Fleming wrote the status during working hours.

“We greatly appreciate our parents who have communicated to the school to share concerns so that we can address this issue,” Principal Tamie Stewart said.

“I want to ensure our families that this person’s individual post is not at all reflective of our school staff in any way.”

The quick action is in stark contrast to the way liberal teacher who have gone on rants against the president have been treated.

An Orange Coast College student got himself suspended when he recorded his teacher going on an anti-Trump diatribe in front of her class where she referred to his election as an “act of terrorism.”

A similar rant recorded by a student was made of St. Joseph’s University professor David Parry, who told students that he is “not sympathetic to the white voters who make over $50,000 a year and said that ‘We are going to vote for Trump.’ Those people I am not sympathetic to, and I do not believe that you have to open your heart to them. If you are a person of color in this room, if you are a woman in this room, you do not have to open your heart to them.”

Parry was confronted by Fox News host Jesse Watters on Saturday’s episode of “Watters World.”

In both cases the liberal teachers were not disciplined by their employers.
