A pair of notorious Russian pranksters are at it again, this time pretending to be a Ukrainian politician and catching Arizona Senator John McCain in a prank phone call.

A well known pair of Russian phone pranksters, Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexei Stoliarov), called McCain this week pretending to be Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, the leader of Ukraine and McCain fell for it, the GatewayPundit.com reported.

During the call the Russian fakers tried to get McCain to agree to send heavy duty military hardware to Ukraine for use against the Russians.

The “Ukraine Prime Minister” also asks what policies President Donald Trump has in store for the region. To that McCain said, “I have to be very frank with my friend, the prime minister. I do not know what the president is going to do.”
