James Clyburn ‘concerned’ over photo from fellow Dem candidate’s rally because nobody looks like him

When you belong to an ideology that runs on identity politics, power, and empty platitudes, rampant hypocrisy should be unsurprising.

Michigan Dem Rep. James Clyburn appeared dismayed over a photo taken at a rally for progressive U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed on Wednesday.

“I saw a picture that concerned me from the rally. I didn’t see a single person that looks like me. That tells me all I need to know,” Clyburn, who is supporting El-Sayed’s Democrat primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, said.

It’s unclear what photo Clyburn was speaking of, but here’s a short clip of El-Sayed’s recent rally:

El-Sayed, on the other hand, has the support of socialist powerhouses:

On the flipside, Republican candidate for Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat Mike Rogers is hopeful, saying his internal polling is up and his Democrat opponents are too radical for Michigan voters. “People are ready to change direction,” he said. “I just don’t think he likes America,” Rogers said of El-Sayed.
