Ex-border czar Kamala Harris demands probe into ICE agent shooting of illegal who tried to run him over

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris called for an investigation into Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who shot an illegal alien after he allegedly tried to run them over.

Agents opened fire on 26-year-old Colombian national Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine, on Monday as he “attempted to flee the scene” of an ICE operation, an incident that has reignited the Democrat Jihad against the enforcement of federal immigration law and President Donald J. Trump’s illegal alien deportation policies.

The shooting was witnessed by Guerrero’s 3-year-old daughter, who was wearing her Bluey pajamas, a heart-tugging detail that activists and the media have exploited to the hilt after she was orphaned due to her dad’s bad decision to attempt to flee the scene during a traffic stop.

Democrats pounced, and one of them was the former vice president and border czar who demanded accountability for the shooting, the latest involving federal immigration enforcement personnel.

“Joan Sebastian Guerrero should still be alive. This is the second time in a week that ICE agents have killed someone who — by their own admission — was not the subject of their operation,” Harris wrote in a Tuesday post to X.

“Now Sebastian is dead, his killing witnessed by his three-year-old daughter wearing her Bluey pajamas,” the ex-veep added. “This cannot be acceptable in America. There must be an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation. Anyone responsible for wrongdoing must be held accountable.”

Harris’ belated concern over the consequences of former President Joe Biden’s four-year open borders jubilee was slammed by X users, many of whom pointed out that she was previously in a position to do something about illegal immigration and didn’t in what amounted to a no-show job.

Last week, Harris – who is eying another White House run in 2028 – condemned ICE for another illegal alien shooting incident in Houston.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) set the record straight on the Guerrero shooting, with the officer firing his gun because he feared for his safety.

“On July 13, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM ET, ICE was conducting targeted surveillance on the last known address of an illegal alien with a final order of removal. An illegal alien departed the residence in a vehicle. ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and, fearing for public safety, an officer discharged his weapon,” DHS said in a Monday statement. “The driver of the vehicle was struck, and emergency services were immediately contacted. He passed away from his injuries.”
