A New Jersey man claimed his Canadian wife was moved to Delaney Hall after facing charges for alleged actions against boardwalk teens wearing clothes mentioning “Trump” and “ICE.”
What was meant to be a day enjoying Americana ahead of the Independence Day semiquincentennial instead found a young girl allegedly “verbally berated” and assaulted by a non-citizen. Now, according to a video posted by charged suspect Kaitlyn Tracey’s husband, her arrest for supposedly taking an “open hand” to minors wearing “patriotic colored sweatpants with political wording” captured the attention of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, leading to a detainer.
In a post featuring the 33-year-old Canadian citizen’s mugshot alongside two videos from self-identified husband Matthew Geroni, Libs of TikTok wrote, “The husband of Kaitlyn Tracey posted a video CRYING after his Canadian wife was arrested for allegedly assaulting a teen girl wearing Trump-themed attire in NJ. He conveniently leaves out why his wife was arrested… If you’re a foreigner and you come here and assault American citizens, you will be deported!”

A press release from the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department spoke to the investigation of the alleged assault wherein surveillance video from July 3 captures an adult female suspect “yelling at the female juvenile over patriotic colored sweatpants and political wording.”
According to court documents, the suspect “verbally berated” the teenagers before the alleged assault over clothes that mentioned President Donald Trump and ICE. She was said to have struck the juvenile female once in the face and once in the body “with an open hand,” leading to charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction.
Tracey was arrested Monday and transported to Ocean County Jail ahead of an Aug. 4 court appearance. From there, Geroni states his wife of three years — who entered the U.S. in 2024 with a passport — was transported to the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark, much-maligned by globalist leftists.
“I need to save her,” and, “I need help,” he could be heard saying in a video while driving. The next video post featured Geroni appearing to read prepared remarks with pop art on the wall behind him that read, “1000 Virgins for Satan’s Master.”
In it, he appeals to the media to connect with him to “hear our story,” affirming his goal is to secure her release, “even if that means back to Canada.”
Despite the emotional plea posted on social media, reactions presented little sympathy for the man who describes himself as “The Clown of Asbury Park” and “The Jester of the Jersey Shore” as he and his wife allegedly reached the “FO” stage after “FA.”
“Crying??? Why? Because his a**hole wife assaulted an American teenager?? His wife deserves some jail time and a healthy fine. Then, they both need to go home, and not come back to the USA,” said one user among a slew of like comments.

Actions have consequences. She allegedly slapped a teenage girl in the face over Trump sweatpants, then fled. Now her husband wants sympathy while conveniently forgetting why she’s in ICE custody? Deport her. Americans (and their kids) deserve to walk the boardwalk without…
