Fox News host Jesse Watters raised the alarm following a socialist surge in New York City’s primary elections, issuing a call to “fight back” as communism creeps across the nation.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) picked candidates in New York City’s Democratic primaries who all came out victorious, in some cases defeating Democrat incumbents. Darializa Avila Chevalier, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, was swept to victory over five-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), thanks to a small minority of voters.
“This is dangerous,” Watters said during Wednesday’s edition of “The Five.”
🚨 SHOCKING: Is this a COMMUNIST TAKEOVER in America? 🚨
“They’re coming for our money, our people, our way of life.”
“Abolish ICE, empty prisons… sounds like a THREAT to me!”

“You don’t think these people can springboard to become governor, senator, AG?” Watters continued. “This is how it happens. You guys run your power centers in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York. All of a sudden, you guys just populated the higher offices in those states. And you guys are just gonna sit back and do nothing with that power?”
“You’re coming for us. You’re coming for our money, you’re coming for our people. You’re coming for our way of life. It’s not socialism, guys. This is communism,” he said, adding that “you can’t reason with these guys.”
“You have to crush them. And we will because we’re not going to let our greatest city get destroyed. We’re not going to let our civilization get destroyed. These people are going to steal from us. These people want to hurt us,” Watters contended.
Even New York Attorney General Letitia James criticized the primary results, telling CNN that she and other Democratic leaders are “disappointed” in Mamdani and his influence.
Letitia James says Democrats are frustrated with their own party but warns they can’t “blow it up.”

“This isn’t like your regular Democrat,” Watters continued on “The Five” panel. “And the way we’re going to react is going to be a lot tougher than the way [President Donald] Trump has reacted.”
He went on to warn against dismissing Mamdani as just a “harmless politician on a hot streak.”
“This guy is trouble. This guy is a Trojan horse, and communism is going to take over the Democratic Party, and then we’re going to have to beat it,” he concluded. “You can’t do anything else besides beat it to a pulp.”
