The immigration deception

Peter Schweitzer’s Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite exposed the hypocrisy of progressives who rail against “millionaires and billionaires” while pursuing gold on a scale that would intimidate King Midas. Avarice is an understatement. While espousing socialism, their hands are in the till. Bernie Sanders owns three houses, net worth, $2-3 million. Elizabeth Warren never refused contributions tied to corporations, net worth, $7-12 million. Schweitzer had enough evidence that none of his targets even tried to sue him for defamation.

Now in The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon, he rips the cover off the conspiracy of Democratic politicians who lust for power at the expense of their country, who see America as an evil enterprise. Their actions make a mockery of their oath to uphold the Constitution. In the Clinton and Biden administrations, the citizenship process was so demeaned that immigrants who couldn’t comprehend English became “shake and bake” citizens who could be counted on to vote Democratic. Latino supremacists boasted that if immigration law was not enforced, they could deliver a reliable Democratic vote. Citizenship and Immigration Service officials were reprimanded by their Obama-appointed boss, Alejandro Mayorkas, for being too scrupulous in vetting citizenship applicants.

The Mexican government is only too happy to undercut US law. Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum is not shy about it, nor was her America-hating predecessor, Andrés Manuel López Obrador– AMALO. Still resentful over losing the Mexican War, Mexico nurses’ revenge using mass immigration to affect the Reconquista. Reversing long-standing policy, Mexico offers dual citizenship. Mexicans who naturalize are still Mexicans first, says their government, and they believe it. Both Democrats and Mexican officials denounce assimilation. Mexican consulates stick their nose into American politics openly assisting illegal aliens and Latino lobbies. Stopping Trump, who would enforce immigration law, is a priority for Mexican meddlers and their Democratic enablers.

The Chinese are no slouches when it comes to undermining the U.S. “Birth tourism” is a major industry President Obama did nothing to discourage. Chinese women giving birth in the US now have “American” babies under the false and pernicious notion of “birthright citizenship”. The children are raised in China and may one day return as American citizens to vote in elections and skew policy in Beijing’s direction. Chinese-born Texas Democratic congressman Gene Wu has given us a taste of what that would be like when he advocated a coalition of minorities to take over the country from the hated Anglos.

Drug cartels have profited enormously from a virtually open border, from extorting fees from border jumpers to smuggling drugs until Trump put a stop to it, outraging Democrats who are horrified by secure borders cutting off future voters.

Another racket benefiting from the third world invasion, and taxpayer money, has been Catholic Charities, whose real purpose is “social change”, i.e., “Liberation Theology” to destroy the republic that is the United States. The late Pope Francis’ own pronouncements revealed his hostility to America and capitalism; the elevation of pro-immigration bishops Cupich and McElroy to cardinal only showcased his anti-American animus.

Schweizer’s rogue’s gallery includes CAIR– the Council on American Islamic relations, which is connected to the Moslem Brotherhood, a terrorist operation outlawed even in Moslem countries. Among other villains are George Soros, the eminence grise of the left, the UN, the San Paolo Forum, HAIS (Hebrew Immigration Aid Society), and just about every bleeding heart operation you can think of.

The situation is bleak, but not hopeless. Immigration enforcement, thoroughly vetting would be immigrants, stringently enforcing the citizenship process, banning foreign contributions to elections, reducing the number of foreign consulates, declaring persona non grata any foreign diplomat who involves himself in American politics, and rejecting the Mexican consulate ID card as proof of identity. These are but a few of the proposals gleaned from Schweitzer. Schweitzer is the “fire bell in the night” ignored at our peril. If that makes one a xenophobe, so be it. Americans are not obligated to commit national suicide on the immigration altar.

Lt. Colonel Civil Affairs, USAR (ret) served twenty-six years in the regular and reserve components of the US Army. He was civil military liaison for the 260th Military Police, DC National Guard, State Public Affairs Officer, Commander of the Public Affairs unit and a counter-drug intelligence analyst. Transferring to the 352 Civil Affairs Command as monuments and archives officer, he became the Command Public Affairs Officer in Iraq as well as liaison to local Iraqi leaders and acting Secretary to the General Staff. He was instrumental in recovering photographic artifacts of the Iraqi Royal family while in Baghdad. He was wounded in action in an ambush in Feb. 2004 for which he was awarded the Purple Heart.

His essays and reviews have appeared in the scholarly and popular press including Asian Affairs and the Washington Times. He is co-author, with Ali Wahab, of The Iraqi Royal Family, a Collection of Photographs Recovered from The Ruins of the Zuhur Palace, 2004.
A native New Yorker, he holds a BA with honors in history from Findlay College (Ohio) and an MA in history from The Ohio State University. He is a graduate of the US Army Command & General Staff College and was graduated with distinction US Naval War College with a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies.
