Crockett takes her murder excuse-making campaign to dangerous and despicable new low

Outgoing Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is doubling down on incendiary remarks she made following the sentencing of killer Karmelo Anthony.

High school football player Austin Metcalf was viciously stabbed in the heart in a dispute over seating turf inside a Memorial High School tent, where Anthony wasn’t supposed to be.
Austin’s twin brother, Hunter, was part of the argument, witnessed the senseless stabbing, and held his beloved brother as he died.

It took a diverse jury just three hours to find Metcalf guilty of murder and to sentence him to over 30 years in prison with a possibility of parole in 17.5 years.

Crockett fumed over the sentence and made disgraceful headlines when she responded by arguing that black women raising black boys suffer more than the Metcalf family probably ever did.

But Crockett wasn’t done, not by a long shot.

She continued her nonsensical excuse-making tirade for the inexcusable by suggesting she’d act the same way as Anthony since Metcalf was the equivalent of a “300-pound” football player readying to beat Anthony into oblivion — despite there being no evidence of any of that.

Crockett’s despicable and disingenuous take drew plenty of backlash and disgust on X:

She is blatantly lying, and it’s a mystery how she sleeps at night.

She’s going to need it.
