Fox News host Jesse Watters urged California Gov. Gavin Newsom to bring an end to Kamala Harris’ political career as the failed 2024 Democrat candidate eyes another presidential run.

Even though Americans resoundingly rejected her absurd campaign the last time around, the uncontrollably cackling former veep still has aspirations for a grand return to the White House, making history as the nation’s first female president, and a woman of color to boot.

With Newsom being the current frontrunner in a dismal field, Harris would be an instant contender given her national name recognition and the clout that the black party base holds in the primary process. The Fox News host is calling for him to administer a mercy killing of her imminent campaign before it gets out of the gate.

On Friday’s edition of “The Five,” Watters and the co-hosts were discussing a Wall Street Journal report that described the California Democrats “like two cats circling,” calling for Newsom to strike first and “slit her throat.”

During the segment with a chyron reading “California Catfight,” Watters called for Newsom to “stop pussyfooting around when you’re dealing with Harris.”

“This is a fight. You gotta take the gloves off. If he starts dancing around ’cause he doesn’t wanna offend blacks or women, that’s not gonna cut it,” he said. “The media’s already gonna say you’re mansplaining and you’re being mean.”

“You gotta slit her throat and then just watch her die. She can’t perform. Put her out of her misery. You see, she can’t cut it. She had a shot. She’s from the past. We can’t do the Biden era anymore,” he added.

Watters then turned to Hunter Biden, the former president’s reformed crackhead son whose image is currently being rehabbed.

“I wouldn’t call him presidential timber, but I like him. He’s in a little bit of a redemption arc. But just because he did drugs and now doesn’t do drugs doesn’t excuse the fact that he’s a jerk, okay?” Watters said. “It doesn’t make you, like, get to wipe out 20 years of being a jerk, okay? He’s still kind of a jerk, but he’s likeable now. He’s actually pretty witty.”

Harris has yet to officially announce that she’s running again, but there have been leaks and reports of her resurgence as the party’s standard-bearer that began nearly immediately after she was vanquished by voters, losing every single one of the swing states as well as the popular vote in what was a total shellacking for her party.

“They claim to be friends, but many expect a gloves-off brawl should the two California Democrats decide to run for president,” the WSJ noted in its piece, which was published this week.

Watters is suggesting that the “brawl” can be avoided if Newsom moves with the ruthlessness that will be necessary to put her political career in the grave where it belongs.
