Biden wears Trump hat and social media blows up, sends WH into damage control mode

On the day after the Kamala Harris-ABC News tag teaming of GOP nominee Donald J. Trump, lame-duck President Joe Biden showed why he was thrown overboard by his own party.

The geriatric Democrat marked the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks with an appearance in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the town where United 93 went down when passengers heroically fought back against the al Qaeda terrorists.

While visiting first responders at the fire station, the deposed Biden who has likened Trump to Hitler and his supporters to Nazis and white supremacists, had another one of the senior moments that led to his ouster, inexplicably putting a red, white, and blue Trump hat on his head.

Biden’s bizarre behavior was caught on video and immediately went viral, blowing up on social media and sending his handlers into damage control mode.

“I’m proud of you now, you old fart,” a Trump supporter told Biden in another video posted to X.

White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates flew into action to insist that his boss intentionally put on the hat to show unity with a Trump supporter at the rally.

“At the Shanksville Fire Station, @POTUS spoke about the country’s bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that,” the White House spox wrote in response to an X post by the Trump War Room thanking Joe for his support.

“As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, POTUS should put on his Trump cap. He briefly wore it,” Bates claimed.

Yeah, Mr. Unity. More like Mr. Senility, and nobody’s buying it.

“Attendees tell me Joe Biden appeared totally senile at the event, and he even put a Red TRUMP 2024 hat on while [Harris] was in the room,” said Trump ally Laura Loomer, according to the Daily Mail. “One of the attendees asked Biden, ‘Do you even know what your name is?'”

Reactions to Biden’s embarrassing donning of the Trump hat had to be giving Team Harris fits.

The good news is that Biden just confirmed that the Democrat elite made the right move by getting him out as their nominee. The bad news is that he’s going to be like the proverbial loose cannon careening around deck from now until the election.
