Former President Donald Trump predicts that he will win the state of New York in November, calling it “one of the greatest wins in the history of the state.”
Despite unprecedented persecution at every turn, including the miscarriage of justice emerging from a Manhattan show trial, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee remains optimistic and energetic in his quest for a second term in the White House, and there’s a good chance this has Democrats lying awake at night.
On Tuesday, Trump shared a video message on Truth Social, urging followers in New York to vote in the state’s June 25 primary.
“I believe that with your support, we can win the state of New York and I’m looking to win it as your presidential nominee,” the nation’s 45th president said. “We are going to win New York – remember those words.”
“I hope I’m gonna be correct. If I am, the election is over,” he continued. “There’s tremendous discontent in New York with hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants taking over your schools and your playgrounds, and the crime that’s happening in the city of New York and the state of New York. The lack of supervision, the lack of control, the lack of leadership — terrible thing is happening in New York. I think we can win it.”

“Under a Trump administration, we are going to turn New York around and we are going to turn it around very fast… Again, we’re gonna make a big play for New York, presidentially,” Trump concluded. “And so get out and join us. It’s going to be one of the greatest wins I think in the history of the state. There’s no question about it and I do believe we can do it.”
Two weeks ago, Trump held what he called a “historic” rally in the Bronx, at Crotona Park, where a reported 25,000 people turned out in support of him.

President Biden has a comfortable lead in a number of polls, even double-digits in some. At the same time, November is a long way off and there will likely be at least two debates that will occur — unless someone finds a reason to pull the plug.
One thing is certain, money will not be an issue for Trump. His son Eric revealed during an appearance on Fox News that his father’s campaign has raised $200 million since he was convicted in New York City.
“In terms of small dollar, we’re well over $70 million… If you add the large dollar donations to it, you’re over 200 million,” the younger Trump said.
