On the eve of his criminal trial kicking off in New York City with jury selection, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to lash out at the unprecedented lawfare being waged against him.

Trump, easily the most persecuted man in modern American history, is being tried in a trumped-up case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on charges involving alleged “hush money” paid to porn star Stormy Daniels — Bragg, the first black district attorney for the borough, resurrected a weak case his predecessors opted not to pursue

Looking ahead to Monday morning, where he will be sitting in a courtroom, the former president blasted Biden’s “henchmen” and a rigged system.

“Just four years ago I was a very popular and successful President of the United States, getting more votes than any sitting President in history,” he wrote. “Tomorrow morning I’ll be in Criminal Court, before a totally conflicted Judge, a Corrupt Prosecutor, a Legal System in CHAOS, a State being overrun by violent crime and corruption, and Crooked Joe Biden’s henchmen ‘Rigging the System’ against his Political Opponent, ME!”

Make no mistake, in the eyes of the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee, the trial is little more than election interference

“I will be fighting for myself but, much more importantly, I will be fighting for our Country,” Trump continued. “Election Interference like this has never happened in the USA before and, hopefully, will never happen again. We are now a Nation in serious Decline, a Failing Nation, but we will soon be a Great Nation Again. November 5th will be the most important day in the History of the United States.”

“MAGA2024! SEE YOU TOMORROW,” he concluded.

Trump reiterated that point in another post shared Sunday night: “The Radical Left Democrats are already cheating on the 2024 Presidential Election by bringing, or helping to bring, all of these bogus lawsuits against me, thereby forcing me to sit in courthouses, and spend money that could be used for campaigning, instead of being out in the field knocking Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the History of the United States. Election Interference!”

In a follow-up post, he added, “As virtually every legal scholar has powerfully stated, the Biden Manhattan Witch Hunt Case is, among other things, BARRED by the Statute of Limitations. This ‘trial’ should be ended by the highly conflicted presiding Judge.”

Trump has been pushing for some time the idea that the four criminal cases brought against him are being orchestrated by the White House and a “criminal” president with November 2024 in mind.

“At what point are the actions of a sitting president using lawfare and weaponization against his opponent for purposes of election interference considered illegal?” he wrote last week in a Truth Social post. “I believe, as do various highly respected legal scholars, that Crooked Joe Biden has long since crossed over that very sacred threshold. He is a criminal. He is a horrible president.”

“He’s the worst president in the history of our country, and the only way he thinks he can get elected is to take me to trials, take me to courts, city, state, and federal. They control them all,” Trump declared.

At the same time, Trump called the charges being brought against him “bullsh*t” and predicted that he will ultimately prevail.

“All of these cases that you’re reading about are Crooked Joe Biden’s case because he can’t put two sentences together. He can’t do anything. So they weaponize government and they take me to court on bullsh*t,” he wrote. “So we are going to win. We’re going to win big. We’re going to go through these horrible Biden trials. And at the end of the day, November 5th, everyone’s coming out to vote for Trump.”
