Chaos erupted in the streets of San Francisco when a mob of unruly transgender activists descended upon a hotel where a “radical feminist” group accused of attacking trans rights held their convention over the weekend.
Left-wing trans anger was percolating over the decision by the organization, Women’s Declaration International USA to hold their second National Women’s Convention at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District and they received a rude welcome after showing up.
Video and images posted to social media show the mob gathering around the hotel on Saturday, shouting and holding signs with slogans like “Millions of dead TERFs,” a derogatory term used by the transgender movement that stands for “trans-exclusionary radical feminists.”

The domestic chapter of the group which originated in the U.K. has been denounced as being hateful to transgenders for what has come to be the controversial viewpoints that the rights of women and girls should be based on biological sex instead of “gender identity” and that being a mother is a designation that should be reserved for actual females.
“Maternal rights and services are based on women’s unique, sex-based capacity to gestate and give birth to children. These rights and services, and the word ‘mother’ itself should stay reserved for persons of the female sex,” the group states on its website.
The menacing mob is seen and heard in videos as they shout profanities and threats at the members from outside of the hotel. There are also reports that they assaulted the hotel’s general manager.
San Francisco trans activists. At this point about eight of them scaled the fence and rushed @StopXXErasure and I, tried to attack us. We ran. We had a couple of guys with us who they also attacked (unsuccessfully). It was terrifying. They also hit the hotel GM. pic.twitter.com/XSWR2Y4dBq

Activist Brette Smith said that hotel security personnel had to lock the doors as the protest against the convention intensified.
“They basically locked us in to lock them out,” she said, posting video footage of the mob to X, previously known as Twitter.
Trantifa in all its glory. How dare women congregate to talk about our sex-based rights and exclude such stunning and brave ladies. @WDI_USA @KDansky @MeghanEMurphy @StopXXErasure pic.twitter.com/Hl6b44KZnH

“F**k you!’ and ‘F**k off!,” “You’re a f**king Nazi!” and “F**k the TERFs, go to hell” and F**k you fascists” were among the vulgarities that were shouted by members of the trans mob.
One protester with a microphone reportedly taunted the trapped conventioneers. “Come down from your little hidey-hole. You’re f**king scared,” the person said.
“Trans individuals are outraged that they are holding this meeting in San Francisco,” San Francisco Community Health senior strategy adviser Tatyana Moaton told the San Francisco Chronicle. “San Francisco is a place that has been a beacon of hope. People come to San Francisco specifically because it’s considered a sanctuary site for them. This (convention) sends a wrong message, because it’s not who we are.”
