Lara Trump, 40, shows off FIT body while snagging bronze medal at Florida triathlon

In support of her argument that “for some, age is just a number,” former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law tested her own mettle with a podium-placing finish at a Florida triathlon.

Lara Trump, a political commentator and wife to the president’s second son Eric Trump, celebrated her success Saturday morning after she competed in the Tampa General Hospital Loggerhead Triathlon. The annual event held at Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida had the 40-year-old mother of two showing off her athleticism and snagging third place in her category.

“Nice little morning at the @loggerheadtriathlon and nice little cheering team too!” she posted to social media after the race as she shared her medal with her kids Eric Jr. and Carolina who were featured in a photo montage set to Kanye West’s “Stronger.”

Reporting on some of the specifics of Trump’s competition, the Daily Mail noted that the commentator had donned a “Betty Design athletic bikini top and pink-and-black triathlon short” for the race that included a 3/8 mile swim in the Atlantic Ocean, 13-mile bike ride and three-mile run that took her just under 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete.

According to the outlet, Trump finished third out of the 11 competitors in the sprint triathlon category of women aged 40 to 44. Out of all women racers, the mom placed 11 out of 83 and she finished 71 out of all the 279 participants.

Though she reportedly did not attend an award ceremony before the cheering crowd, the competitor was said to have taken time to pose for photos with fans.

Her race performance came less than two weeks after filling in for Newsmax host Eric Bolling on “The Balance” where she said, “Donald Trump is a very young 77-years-old proving that there are different situations and that yes, for some, age is just a number.”

By comparison, the commentator had said of 80-year-old President Joe Biden that he “looks more and more unable to hold the highest office in the land.”

Family members of the former president and Republicans aren’t alone in spotting the vitality differences between the candidates as a recent poll from the Wall Street Journal detailed that along with 73 percent of respondents believing that Biden’s advanced years hampered his ability to serve, two-thirds of Democrat voters held that opinion.

“Voters overwhelmingly think President Biden is too old to run for re-election and give him low marks for handling the economy and other issues important to their vote,” the Journal reported and said the poll offered “a stark warning to the 80-year-old incumbent ahead of the 2024 contest.”

Meanwhile, less than half of respondents felt the same way about Biden’s predecessor and the current frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination.
