Musk offers to pay legal bills for those targeted over tweets; Don Jr. says: ‘I got a big one for ya’

X owner Elon Musk created quite a stir over the weekend when he announced that he will fund the legal bill of anyone who was targeted by their employer because of their actions on the social media platform.

“If you were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill. No limit. Please let us know,” Musk tweeted.

And oh, did they ever let him know — beginning with perhaps the most obvious choice:

A close second would be comedian Roseanne Barr, who got caught up in an early wave of cancel culture after tweeting an Ambien-fueled joke in May 2018 that described top Obama lieutenant Valerie Jarrett as the offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood and the “Planet of the Apes.”

Actress Gina Carano, who was canceled from her starring role in the popular Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” after sharing conservative views, also stepped forward.

“I think I qualify,” she tweeted.

Musk’s tweet followed the announcement over the weekend from very woke NASCAR that driver Noah Gragson was indefinitely suspended for “liking” a disparaging George Floyd meme — it’s not clear if this propelled the billionaire to step up.
