Gender absurdity hit another peak Saturday when a “non-binary” women’s Track and Field champion dedicated her victory to transgenderism.

Athletes converged on Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene over the weekend for the 2023 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championship in hopes of qualifying for a spot on Team USA at this year’s World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Despite biologically being a woman, 28-year-old Nikki Hiltz’s victory in the Women’s 1500M intersected with the inane because of her self-identification as a “transgender non-binary” athlete.

Speaking with Citius Mag after her 4:03.10 win, the Lululemon-sponsored athlete racked up her ESG score when she was asked about an interaction with a spectator who had brought a trans flag.

“It was awesome. I think…there’s so much hate right now, and like specifically the bills being passed for trans youth,” Hiltz suggested without mentioning which legislative efforts she meant. “I feel like the LGBTQ community…needed a win and there’s so many things that go through my mind in the race, and for whatever reason that was kind of in the back of my mind.”

“I saw that trans flag right when I came out before the race even started and I was like, like that person, I don’t know their pronouns or who they are, but like they brought that flag and I bet they’re here for me,” the runner continued.

Hiltz went on to detail, “I saw them after the race and I gave them my bibs. I did a whole victory lap holding my bib. I wanted to give it to that one person because they were the reason I won, or one of them. They pulled it out of me. So it was awesome.”

Sharing details from a recent Runner’s World interview with the track champion, journalist Kristi L. Talmadge appeared to answer a question that was top of mind for many who decry the unfair advantage that male athletes claiming to be women have when allowed in women’s competitions.

“Nikki Hiltz is a biological woman who is not taking cross-sex hormones or drugs,” Talmadge wrote, clarifying that her identity was purely virtue-signaling. The post went on to suggest, “She’s basically another Lesbian that got brainwashed by TikTok during COVID-19 to become ‘Trans, Nonbinary.'”

“I think the app knew I was non-binary before I did,” Hiltz had said to Runner’s World, recounting her experience before “coming out” in 2021 on International Transgender Day of Visibility.

While corporate media fawned over Hiltz’s identity and her preferred pronouns, and inquiring minds wondered how the athlete was allowed to compete in a Women’s event while claiming to be otherwise, a former sprinter took to Twitter to congratulate her with a caveat.

“Young girls lost out on an incredible role model when Nikki identified out of womanhood. She could be a great example of…the many ways to be a woman. Instead she rejected it outright,” the post read. “It’s alright to be a masculine woman…No haircut, outfit, or identity will make Nikki not a woman. I wish she would embrace it.”
