Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaged in some serious schadenfreude Monday evening during an appearance on Pod Save America, with her trademark cackle getting plenty of exercise over former President Donald Trump being indicted in Miami the following day for mishandling classified documents — the irony here being off the charts.
While you might think Hills would opt to sit this one out, she was feeling pretty festive about the two-tiered system of justice on display in America as she roared with laughter over Trump’s pending demise — perhaps, payback for having to endure frequent chants of “Lock her up!”
“I have a lot of reactions,” the failed 2016 Democratic presidential nominee said of the coming indictment of a former president. “I think the best reaction – publicly – is let’s see how it unfolds and see what happens, right?”
