While Twitter was making excuses, conservatives were demanding answers after an alleged “whitewash” of “Antifa driven trans-terrorism” led to the suspension of Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R) congressional account and that of reporters as well.
Corporate media may have been struggling through the minefield of gender identity in the wake of six murders at a Nashville Christian school Monday by a trans suspect, but those in favor of honest reporting had no trouble in addressing alphabet activism’s calling card. This included drawing attention, as Greene had, to the promotion of a “Trans Day of Vengeance” planned for April 1 in Washington, D.C. connected to the Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN) and Antifa.
From her official account, Greene had shared the posts about the planned protests, condemning potential violence and the “terrorist group” promoting it, but was suspended in the process. A screen capture showed a follow-up from her original post where she sought an explanation from Twitter CEO Elon Musk.
“My Congressional Twitter account was suspended today. @elonmusk, how is it ‘violent speech’ to expose the ‘Trans Day of Vengence’ a day after a mass murder committed by a transgender shooter? And to call on the DOJ to investigate it?” she asked. “I condemned the incitement to violence & demanded a federal law enforcement investigation in the Tweet.”
From her personal account she had tweeted, “In the wake of a transgender shooter targeting a Christian school and murdering kids, every American should know the threat of Antifa driven trans-terrorism. Twitter should not whitewash the incitement of politically motivated violence.”

The congresswoman wasn’t alone in facing the wrath of censorship as Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, and Luke Rosiak of The Daily Wire were among those whose reporting was labeled a violation of “rules against violent speech.

Twitter’s head of trust and safety Ella Irwin claimed users were not hit with a strike as she responded to a complaint from the Claremont Institute’s Jeremy Carl and contended that the platform “Just restricted the media.”
Irwin had argued, “We had to automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of this poster. We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. ‘Vengeance’ does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok.”
Correct. We had to automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of this poster. We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. “Vengeance” does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok

However, Greene did not relent as she proceeded to share a screenshot of her suspension on her personal account and called out Irwin, stating, “This is a lie. My Congressional account was suspended for 7 days for exposing Antifa, who are organizing a call for violence called ‘Trans Day of Vengeance.’ The day after the mass murder of children by a trans shooter. Restore my account immediately.”

There are several instances from Tuesday on both of Greene’s accounts that show posts removed by Twitter for allegedly violating the platform’s rules.
