Bidens’ food order throws Twitter for a loop!

The world has a number of incredibly important issues that should be addressed, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for Twitter users to ponder those little things in life.

Like, for instance, why President Joe Biden and his wife, first lady Jill Biden, would order the exact same dish at a restaurant in February? Jessica Sidman, food editor at the Washingtonian, noted that the Bidens dined at The Red Hen and ordered identical pasta dishes.

Why does anyone care? We’re baffled too.

“Here’s what the Bidens had for dinner tonight at [The Red Hen]: grilled bread with cultured butter, chicory salad, 2 orders of rigatoni with fennel sausage ragu (their signature dish), plus a couple glasses of Barbera,” Sidman tweeted

While this isn’t the most riveting piece of journalism, culinary or otherwise, for some unexplained reason, it still got people buzzing on social media.

Some people thought it was strange that a couple would order the exact same dish, after all, who doesn’t like trying each other’s food? Others say it’s totally normal, especially if both people happen to love the same dish.
