‘We were told this was not happening’: Biden admin IS coming for your gas stove

Contrary to the insistence by the Biden regime and its stooges in the media that the banning of gas stoves is just another right-wing conspiracy theory, the federal government really IS determined to invade American kitchens with its climate change crusade in yet another incursion on the freedoms that the nation’s citizens have long enjoyed before new management took over.

According to a report from the Washington Free Beacon, the administration’s public retreat from its imposition of environmental fascism which was walked back after remarks by Consumer Product Safety Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. that all options were on the table as far as a government ban on Americans’ cooking methods of choice set off a firestorm of outrage, was all just a bunch of malarkey.

The outlet drew attention to an Energy Department analysis in which the regulatory agency acknowledged that “roughly half of all gas stoves on the U.S. market today would not meet its proposed cooking appliance efficiency regulations,” citing a Friday report from E&E News that shed light on the what’s currently being cooked up within the bowels of the vast, unelected bureaucracy.

“In an analysis published earlier this month, President Joe Biden’s Energy Department acknowledged that roughly half of all gas stoves on the U.S. market today would not meet its proposed cooking appliance efficiency regulations, E&E News reported Friday,” according to the WFB. “As a result, those stoves would not be eligible for purchase. Still, Energy Department spokesman Jeremy Ortiz dismissed concerns over the proposal, saying half the gas stove market ‘would remain if this standard is finalized as proposed.'”

Twitter reacted after the report punctured the left-wing’s dishonest smokescreen about the sneaky move against gas cooking appliances.

Last month, Biden’s chief spox, the vibrant and diverse White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied that her boss was supportive of the gas stove ban.

The DOE’s 50 percent number is leading to confusion with companies in the gas appliance industry.

“They were desperate to show better numbers because their analysis is such a poor justification of what they’re proposing,” said Jill Notini, vice president of communications and marketing at the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers.

“It’s like they’re in such a rush to regulate these products, and they’re trying to cover their tracks,” Notini added. “But they’re doing an incredibly poor job of it. We have never seen this level of sloppy analysis from DOE before. We are not against standards. We’ve been at the table since the very beginning.”
