Two female lawmakers in Idaho have proposed legislation that would impose prison time and fines for anyone administering mRNA vaccines, including the COVID jab.
State Senator Tammy Nichols and state Representative Judy Boyle drafted the bill based on the argument that the vaccines for COVID-19 had been developed so quickly that some safety standards may have been neglected. This is a point that many skepticists raise when asked why they won’t receive the shot.
“Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a person may not provide or administer a vaccine developed using messenger ribonucleic acid technology for use in an individual or any other mammal in this state,” the bill reads. If passed, anyone caught breaking this law could face up to six months in jail and/or a fine of $1,000.
“We are seeing more and more concerns rising because of the mRNA vaccine,” Nichols explained when asked about the bill. “We have issues that this was fast-tracked, there’s no liability, there’s no access to data, risk-benefit analysis has not been done, there’s no informed consent.”
“I’m seeing conflicting reports in regard to [whether the shots actually measured up to FDA safety and efficacy standards],” she said on a separate occasion. “So I’m actually having more information being sent to me to address that particular issue, because I’m finding that it may not have been done like we thought it should have been done or that it would have normally been done for an approval process, as an FDA-approved vaccine.”
The bill is currently waiting in the Idaho House’s Health & Welfare Committee where it will have to be heard before it can head out to be voted on. Given that it hasn’t even received a calendar date for a hearing, there is no telling how long that process can take or if it will even advance through the committee.
