‘Shut up! Retire!’ Geraldo’s relentless Biden praise sends Twitter over the edge

President Joe Biden’s trip to Ukraine generated a lot of negative responses, so it should come as no surprise that anyone praising him would be on the receiving end of similar treatment.

Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera is no stranger to bad takes, but he may not have expected such strong backlash over his comments on Biden’s visit to Ukraine.

“Bravo Biden stand and deliver,” he tweeted on Monday.

Early Tuesday morning, Rivera released another tweet that somehow garnered more negative reactions than the previous one.

“Whatever your politics, if you don’t admire President Biden’s physical courage in going boldly to Kyiv to face missiles and bombs of the Russian dictator, then you don’t get American exceptionalism,” he opined. “A year ago, Putin thought he would be marching the streets of Ukraine’s capital.”

He was promptly dragged in the comments:

This comes after Rivera was booed by a live audience on “Hannity” after saying that he genuinely believes the president is a “decent person.”

It would appear that Geraldo is part of a quickly-dwindling Biden fanbase, but it remains to be seen when, or if, he will finally jump ship.
