Newsom blasts Fox News for creating ‘cartoon characters’ Jesse Watters and Tucker Carlson in foul-mouthed rant

California Gov. Gavin Newsom, the leader of one of the least free states in the country, has a lot of trash to talk about Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Jesse Watters.

The trash-talking came amid a discussion on David Axelrod’s podcast this Thursday about social media censorship, which the California governor staunchly supports.

Newsom at one point said that he’s not as worried about social media censorship as he is about network censorship,  which he believes there’s not enough of.

“I have a bigger problem with the people that are creating the content for these platforms and the networks that should be curating — that are not curating, that are expressing themselves similarly, not dissimilar to these platforms and weaponizing grievance and dividing this country,” he obliviously said.

“And yeah, I’m calling out the Murdochs and Fox. Yes, I’m calling out these platforms. Yes, I’m calling out Jesse Waters. What a joke that guy is!” he continued.

“Listen to the way they demean people — talk down to people. They create characters, cartoon characters. Look at what this guy Tucker Carlson does every single night. The racial priming. These folks need to be called out by name,” he added without a shred of self-awareness.

The whole podcast episode can be heard below, assuming you have enough internal fortitude to stomach an hour of lies and other nonsense:

“This is a serious moment in history and people need to be a hell of a lot more serious about it. And Democrats need to wake up and not be on the damn defense on all this stuff and playing into this crap that’s coming from these red states and get back and wake up to what’s happening,” Newsom continued.

“They’re winning 25, 26 states, rolling back half a century of progress in real-time. And we’re not damn focused on it. We’re focused on all this other sh*t and crap that’s on the other national screens. Meanwhile, these other guys are running the tables,” he concluded.

Amazingly, he never stopped to ponder why Republicans are winning so many states. Maybe, just maybe, the American people support their agenda.

And maybe. just maybe, they support the GOP’s agenda because the GOP’s agenda is synonymous with freedom and liberty.

Indeed, according to the Cato Institute, the top five states for freedom are all led by Republicans: New Hampshire, Florida, Nevada, Tennessee, and South Dakota.

Conversely, the bottom five states for freedom are all led by Democrats: New York, Hawaii, CALIFORNIA, New Jersey, and Oregon.

This doesn’t seem like a coincidence.

GOP governors tend to favor pro-freedom policies like deregulation and tax cuts, whereas Democrat governors usually like to pursue the exact opposite policies.

For example, five years ago Newsom signed into law a bill, AB5, that gutted the gig industry by essentially making it illegal for people to perform freelance/contract work. In the process, he destroyed countless livelihoods, including those of the disabled.

“The law caused financial devastation for a substantial segment of California’s population, including people with disabilities who are working or who have worked, and their families,” according to a report published at the time in Medium.

Below are a couple of examples of said victims, brought to you by recently elected Rep. Kevin Kiley, then a member of the California State Assembly:

Newsom never once commented about these cases. As far as anyone could tell, he didn’t seem to care — which isn’t surprising given that he’s a liberal elitist. One who appears to be completely detached from reality.

Case in point: He spends an inordinate amount of time attacking other GOP governors like Arkansas’ Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Florida’s Ron DeSantis.

Yet the data is clear: Americans are moving out of California en masse and relocating to red states like, wait for it, Arkansas and Florida.

“A growing number of Americans migrated from predominantly blue states with steep taxes like California and New York to red states with lower taxes like Florida and Texas last year,” Fox Business Network reported late last month.

This finding raises the question, who’s the real cartoon character!?
