When it comes to the latest political hot-button issue, the Chinese spy balloon, the ladies on “The View” have a very simple job — prop up President Joe Biden amid withering criticism for allowing the balloon to traverse the entire country before finally bringing it down.
If they can do that job while managing to ridicule Donald Trump in the process, well, that makes for a great day and that’s just what Ana Navarro pulled off on Monday.
The liberal cohost noted that Sen. Marco Rubio said that if the U.S. sent a balloon to China, it would be shot down to take the prerequisite crack at Trump — that’s why she’s on the show, to be the “Republican” voice denouncing Trump and all things Republican.
“I have a suggestion of a balloon we should send to China,” she said before a screenshot of a Baby Trump protest balloon appears on the screen.
Proving how much of a clown she is, Ana Navarro suggests we fly the Baby Trump balloon over China so they can shoot at it.

“Look, I think this was about China sending a message, right? And that is a serious issue because I think they are establishing themselves — have established themselves as now a major world power. And they want to show their strength,” said Navarro, who has no foreign policy experience.
“Do you think they wanted to show Biden’s weakness as well?” chimed in co-host Sonny Hostin, who earlier in the segment praised Biden for being wise enough to “listen to his military” when the Pentagon overrode his order to shoot down the balloon, with Hostin saying it was “very thoughtful and it makes a lot of sense to me.”
“They want to – Look, they love this. They love that Republicans turned this into this big drama. You know, that there’s senators and people shooting, pointing guns,” Navarro replied.
The comment about a gun is a reference to a photo posted in good fun by Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, who is sitting in a chair with an AR-15-style gun looking skyward.
Hell, Navarro would go one better on Twitter, seemingly running interference for Beijing:
Call me skeptical about this whole Chinese surveillance balloon thing. Seems to me if you’re intent is to actually spy on a foreign country, sending a giant balloon, readily visible from the ground, might not be the best way to go about it. ♀️

Of course, in the eyes of Whoopi Goldberg, China probing U.S. military capabilities, as some experts suggest may have been at play here, is no big deal. Nothing to see here, folks.
“Listen, we spy on them. They spy on us. We find out stuff. They find out stuff. You know. And the world keeps going around. We’ll be right back,” she said, as the show cut to a break.
