A horrifying video captured the beatings of two young siblings on the school bus from Coconut Palm K-8 Academy in Florida.
The mother of the children is speaking out, shocked and deeply disturbed by the way her children were savagely assaulted while simply trying to get an education.
“Emotionally, I couldn’t even last two minutes. I couldn’t look at the video. Like any mother, I am destroyed. I fell to my knees and at that moment I said I have to do something,” said the mother of the siblings.

“Another kid came out of nowhere and hit my son and he fell to his knees, and they started to hit him,” she said of the beating of her 10-year-old son.
It is unclear why these two young children were targeted, as the mother explained they had been enrolled in the school for a mere three weeks. During that period, they experienced bullying which was reported prior to the vicious attack.
“This needs to be taken care of right away. Our children are in danger at school where we are trusting other people to do their jobs,” she added. “That’s not justifiable. It doesn’t matter what was said. Our kids need to learn that through violence nothing is resolved.”
Unfortunately, this doesn’t appear to be an isolated case. Other parents have indicated that there is something wrong at the academy.
“My son was bullied at that school, since the beginning of the school year,” revealed another mother. She explained that her third-grade son was experiencing physical bullying, but when she reached out to school administrators she was reportedly ignored.
“There was an incident during P.E. and she said that what happens in P.E. stays in P.E. and that to me was just bewildering,” she added. Unfortunately, she was forced to remove her child from the school for his own protection.
“I had to pull my kid out of the school, cause that school doesn’t care about their children.”
Miami-Dade County Public Schools released a statement in the wake of the video, claiming “Miami-Dade Schools Police arrested the offender and they will be charged accordingly. Additionally, those involved will be disciplined according to the code of student conduct. This school district goes to great lengths to promote the values of restraint and respect as well as using social media responsibly. We ask that parents reinforce these principles at home.”
The 14-year-old suspected of participating in the violence was arrested and the mother of the siblings intends to press charges. Another student was reportedly issued a civil citation.
