A transgender substitute teacher in Maine was reportedly fired late last month for sharing his salacious TikTok account with his students.
The teacher, Lydia Lamere, taught at King Middle School in Portland, Maine, up until school officials became aware that he’d shared his Tiktok with students.
“[O]ne King Middle School student told her parents that Lamere wrote the TikTok handle on a whiteboard at the front of the classroom, encouraging students to check it out,” according to the Maine Policy Institute’s Maine Wire news site.
In one TikTok post, Lamere reportedly described starting hormone replacement therapy during the COVID pandemic. In another video, he posed provocatively in front of a bathroom mirror with just a towel on.

In another video that was viewed by Reduxx, another news site, Lamere spoke about “kink,” sexual positions, and other terms associated with BDSM culture.
Lamere has since scrubbed his TikTok account, though according to The Maine Wire, several students downloaded a copy of all the content before he did.
“The students continued sharing the Tiktok videos after the profile was deleted,” the site notes.
Speaking with the site, one father said he found out about Lamere’s posts when he saw the teacher’s salacious videos on his daughter’s phone.
“My daughter showed me group text messages where all the students were talking about it. Her gender or sexuality has nothing to do with why I’m upset. The violation here is the sexualization of children,” Mark Davey said.
King Middle School principal Caitlin LeClair eventually learned about the TikTok videos on January 19th. A day later, she announced that Lamere had been fired.
“On Thursday I was made aware of concerns that students were accessing videos late Wednesday on TikTok. As a result of our investigation the employee will not return to King,” she wrote in an email to parents.
Lamere is reportedly a biological male and also goes by the names Chris Lamere, Lydia Moon, Clodagh Moon, and Clodagh Lamere.
Moreover, over the years he “has identified variously as non-binary, as a transgender woman, and as a transgender lesbian,” according to The Maine Wire.
Below is another video from his TikTok account:

Davey, the father whose daughter attends King Middle School, said that he personally wouldn’t be surprised if Lamere scrubbed his account as per the school’s guidance, so as to perhaps potentially avoid any political blowback.
The sexualization of children is a hot topic these days due to an abundance of “transgender” and “non-binary” teachers who evidently see nothing wrong with exposing little children to age-inappropriate sexual content.
Last year congressional Republicans responded to this disturbing new trend by proposing legislation, the Stop the Sexualization of Children Act of 2022, to “prohibit the use of federal funds to develop, implement, facilitate or fund any sexually oriented program, event or literature for children under the age of 10.”
It was modeled off of Florida’s successful, widely supported Parental Rights in Education bill that prevents teachers from addressing sexual topics with children in third grade and younger.
“Classrooms and libraries are a place for our children to learn English, math, and history – not be exposed to radical general ideology and sexually explicit ‘Drag Queen Storytimes,'” Rep. Doug LaMalfa, one of 33 Republicans who introduced the bill, said at the time.
“This bill is common-sense; not a dime of federal tax dollars should go to any public school, government agency, or private organization that intentionally exposes young children to sexually explicit material,” he added.
Rep. Dan Bishop was also among the 33:

Meanwhile in Florida, the Sunshine State is now reportedly mulling expanding the Parental Rights in Education bill.
Speaking with the Daily Mail last month, Florida state Senate President Kathleen Passidomo said that the state legislature is now considering expanding the bill to also include fourth, fifth, and sixth grade — though no further.
“I don’t think I’d be supportive of [having the rule apply to] high school because kids in high school are, hopefully, a little more mature, or at least they should be,” she said during a press briefing last month.
Meanwhile, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary told the Daily Mail that the governor may very well be interested in signing such an expansion.
“The governor would certainly consider the merits of such a bill in final form if it comes to his desk as a product of the forthcoming legislation session,” press secretary Bryan Griffin said.

Dovetailing back to the original story, Portland Schools communications coordinator Tess Nacelewicz confirmed to The Maine Wire that the school never contacted law enforcement about Lamere’s troubling behavior.
Nacelewicz also revealed that, prior to hiring Lamere, the school had interviewed him and conducted a background check but not checked his social media profiles.
