Comer ‘extra concerned’ about Biden’s mishandling of classified docs, what role Hunter may have played

The long-awaited investigation into potential wrongdoing on the part of President Joe Biden is set to commence and in a preview for House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearings, chair Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) shut down the leftist narrative of “normal” being sold with regard to the president’s handling of classified documents.

While corporate media continues to run interference for both Biden’s screwups and his alleged influence peddling, representatives from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) are set to come before the Oversight Committee on Tuesday to answer questions about classified documents discovered at his Delaware home and former Penn Biden Center office. Monday on “Fox & Friends First,” Comer outlined what’s to come and the questions he hopes to have answered.

Fox News’s Todd Piro asked the congressman to clarify whether the possession of classified materials by the former vice president could be considered normal to which Comer replied, “Nothing that Joe Biden’s done with respect to mishandling these classified documents is normal.”

“Take into consideration that he’s also being investigated for influence peddling with our adversaries around the world, and it’s even more concerning,” he emphasized.

“Look, more information comes out every day where his son, especially, as well as his two brothers, have had shady business dealings with our adversaries around the world, and part of what they would do when they would make a pitch to these shady characters in these foreign countries is prove to them that they actually had direct access to their brother and that they had direct access to people at the highest levels of our federal government,” Comer said.

“So when we learned that Joe Biden had classified documents from all over the place and that Hunter Biden especially lived in his house where he had those classified documents, we became extra concerned,” the chairman specified, “and that’s why this investigation is of the utmost importance for the United States Congress as well as the American people.”

As previously reported, Fox News host Tucker Carlson had made the case that Hunter Biden likely had access to classified documents based on at least one email correspondence from 2014 with his Burisma business partner, Devon Archer. Of the information that read to the host like a State Department memo during the younger Biden’s struggles with drug addiction, Carlson said, “he seemed to know for a fact the details of American diplomatic strategy in the reason. The US will respond with even stronger sanctions. How did Hunter Biden know that? Oh, come on. Come on.”

In addition to seeing what information NARA will be willing to provide regarding the classified documents found at locations linked to Biden, Comer went on to say that questions will be asked of former Twitter executives as they pertain to the “Twitter Files” exposure of the suppression and censorship of reporting on the infamous laptop from hell.

“We’re gonna prove that the government tried to cover this up from day one,” the Kentucky lawmaker said as he also expressed that the contents of Hunter’s laptop will be investigated to learn “what role exactly the president played in this influence peddling.”

“We know the laptop is legitimate. We know the laptop has very damaging evidence for several members of the Biden family, including the president of the United States. So we wanna know why they took such extreme measures to ban the New York Post,” Comer went on before clarifying, “but this investigation…is based solely on the Biden family influence peddling,”
