DHS footage: Immigration authorities released ‘well over’ 150K migrants into US without ‘processing’

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody has obtained incontrovertible proof that the Biden administration has already let the border be overrun, never mind the upcoming end of Title 42.

Thanks to a lawsuit she filed against the Department of Homeland Security, she’s obtained access to internal DHS footage, including tape of an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official making a bombshell announcement to agents.

“You know over the summer, we had well over 150,000 folks come in. They were issued a piece of paper that said, ‘Find somebody in ICE,’ and that was pretty much it. There was no processing. I know this isn’t something that you guys asked for, and I can assure you that no one in the criminal alien program asked for it either,” the official says.

In other words, over the summer the administration released over 150,000 illegals into the United States without any processing. That’s a big deal.

“Attorney General Ashley Moody is revealing new evidence of President Joe Biden’s intentional destruction of the nation’s immigration system. Through legal efforts to stop the border crisis, Florida obtained U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement training videos showing that ICE officials are fighting a losing battle against illegal immigration because of Biden’s destructive policies,” a statement from Moody’s office states.

Moody is one of dozens of GOP attorneys general who’ve also filed suit in an attempt to stop the administration from ending Title 42.

The statement from her office continues by noting that the border is already being overrun, even with Title 42 still intact for now.

“The intentional tearing down of national safeguards will make it nearly impossible for the federal government to stop the possible invasion as experts predict as many as 14,000 immigrants a day may start pouring across the U.S. Southwest Border if Title 42 expires,” it reads.

“While the administration may try to blame the expiration of Title 42 for the invasion, it is clear the Biden administration created this coming crisis through years of methodical destruction of public-safety immigration structures. The expiration of Title 42 would reveal just how vulnerable Biden’s presidency has left the country,” it continues.

In a statement of her own, Moody said, “Since day one of his administration, President Biden has purposefully broken down the structure and law enforcement at our nation’s border with Mexico—all while confusing and misleading the nation about this devious, reckless scheme. If Title 42 ends, the administration may blame the mass surge of unvetted migrants on this rule’s remission, but don’t be fooled. They’re playing fast and loose with the lives of Americans to advance an absurd political agenda.”

“As our litigation uncovered, this has been this administration’s plan all along. They’ve let in and lost track of hundreds of thousands of inadmissible immigrants, and it will get worse if Title 42 expires. We will continue our litigation efforts to force Biden to follow the law and try to mitigate this national disaster,” she added.

Moody’s latest discovery follows another one made in September, when she obtained an internal memo detailing how the administration should respond if and once Title 42 is repealed.

“In the emergency memo, dated May 19, Border Patrol predicted that an overwhelming surge of immigrants would come across the southern border if Title 42 was repealed—as the Biden administration intended until Florida and other states sued and won to prevent this catastrophe,” according to a statement from the AG’s office.

“Border Patrol also did not expect to be able to properly process or transport the illegal immigrants encountered in this case. If this occurred, the memo directed patrol sectors to release immigrants, including those inadmissible, into the country,” the statement continues.

As previously reported, the only reason Title 42 remains active is because of a joint effort by GOP attorneys general like Moody.

“The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed U.S. border officials to continue expelling migrants under a policy known as Title 42 indefinitely, granting a petition from Republican-led states to prevent the Biden administration from immediately ending the pandemic-related measure,” CBS News reported Tuesday.

“The high court decided to hear a request from 19 Republican-led states who were seeking to delay the end of Title 42, which was originally set to expire on Dec. 21 because of a lower court order that found the policy to be unlawful,” CBS News added.
