Drag queen who performed for 2-year-old boy invited by White House to ‘Respect for Marriage Act’ signing

President Joe Biden invited a drag queen who performs for children to the White House this Tuesday to celebrate the signing of the Respect for Marriage Act.

The drag queen, Marti Cummings, received attention three years after ago he was spotted singing to a 2-year-old while dressed in drag.

Watch:

“Anyone who thinks drag isn’t for children is wrong. Drag is expression, and children are such judgment-free beings; they don’t really care what you’re wearing, just what you’re performing,” he reportedly tweeted after the performance.

Cummings announced his invitation to the White House in a since-privated tweet he posted to Twitter a day before the signing of the bill.

“To be a non binary drag artist invited to the White House is something I never imagined would happen. Thank you President & Dr. Biden for inviting me to this historic bill signing. Grateful doesn’t begin to express the emotions I feel,” he tweeted Monday.

According to Cummings’ website, he’s “a NYC drag artist, television personality, and political figure.”

“Throughout their nearly decade long drag career Marti has been a regular fixture in the nightlife world performing up to 6 regular shows a week. They have sold out concerts at 54 Below, Lincoln Centers Big Apple Circus, Dixon Place and regularly tour the world with Atlantis Cruises,” the website biography reads.

However, critics are far more concerned with the darker elements of Cummings’ past, such as the time he tweeted, “The kids are out to sing and suck d!”

And the time he befriended a little child who said they wanted “to perform [with] us next year”:

And the time Cummings performed half-naked:

And the time Cummings performed this sexually explicit ditty about his desire for “d–k”:

Based on the type of content Cummings produces, and coupled with his deep desire to perform for little children, many critics believe outright that he’s a pedophile/groomer.

This, presumably, is the reason that he made private his Twitter account, meaning nobody may no longer see his tweets unless he follows them.

Look at the backlash below:

Criticism is also being directed at the Biden administration for inviting someone like Cummings to the White House in the first place.

As noted earlier, Cummings was invited to celebrate the signing of the Respect for Marriage Act,  a law that codifies same-sex marriage into law.

The administration, for its part, doesn’t appear to care. Not only has the administration ignored all the criticism, but it lit up the White House in rainbow colors late Tuesday:

Besides being a drag queen who enjoys performing in front of children, Cummings is also a political left-winger who supports defunding the police.

Indeed, according to Fox News, in 2020 he “ran an unsuccessful campaign for a spot on the New York City Council, where defunding the police was part of the campaign platform.”

“I’m a proud fem queer nonbinary drag artist who wants to defund police & fund education, affordable housing, social work & I’m running for city council along w lot of other queer candidates & we are going to fight for you the people not police unions, not real estate, but for you,” he reportedly tweeted at the time.
