White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed that President Joe Biden has visited the country’s southern border but reporter Peter Doocy of Fox News wasn’t having it, putting her on the defensive over the latest fib from the top spokesperson for what many believe is the most brazenly dishonest administration in the nation’s history.
During Wednesday’s daily press briefing, Biden’s spox was asked by Doocy whether the nation’s 46th president would consider taking up an offer from Republican Kevin McCarthy, the likely next Speaker of the House in the new GOP majority to accompany him to witness the ongoing illegal immigration disaster first hand, which would be the first trip to the border that he would be making since he took office.
Following a meeting at the White House on Tuesday, McCarthy told reporters, “I invited the president to go to the border with me.”
“I explained to the president, he asked me about the border, so I told him about my current trip,” he said as he described the situation that he observed during a recent visit to El Paso.

“Kevin McCarthy, says he invited President Biden down to the border, how does the president RSVP?” Doocy asked as Jean-Pierre flipped through her trusty binder with a sour look on her face before letting loose with nervous laughter.
“We know the president’s never been down to the border,” Doocy said, “the possible next speaker said that he wants him to go with him, so is he going to?”
“So look,” she responded. “He’s been there. He’s been to the border uh, and since took office…”
“When did he go to the border,” Doocy shot back, creating yet another awkward moment for Biden’s number one flack.
KJP then launched into one of her trademark filibusters during which she spewed a litany of talking points but not an answer to Doocy’s direct question.
“Since he took office, President Biden has been taking action to fix our immigration system and secure our border, and that’s why on day one he put forward, an immigration, an immigration reform, a piece of legislation to deal with what is currently happening at the border,’ she babbled.
“But you know that we’re not seeing that from Republicans, we’re not seeing a willingness to work with us on fixing a situation that’s been around for decades, now,” she continued, shifting the blame to the GOP which hasn’t controlled Congress during Biden’s reign.
“Instead, they’re, they’re, doing political stunts, that’s what they want to do, that’s how they want to take care of the situation, but in the meantime, the president has secured record levels of funding for the Department of Homeland Security,” she said, still not bothering to mix in an answer. “We have over twenty three thousand agents working to secure the border we’ve taken thousands of smugglers off the streets and we’re cutting down on asylum prop… processing times, and a number of individuals arriving unlawfully from northern Central America and Venezuela is coming down significantly because of the actions that the president has taken.”
As is always the case when it comes to members of the regime and Democrats in general, the “fact-checkers” were nowhere to be found so it was up to Twitter users to do the job.

No administration in the nation’s history has trotted out a spokesperson quite like Jean-Pierre, who despite her history-making turn as the first black, lesbian immigrant to ever hold the job as press secretary, is clearly unqualified for the position. Whether it is her frequent mispronunciations of words, having to resort to flipping through her binder for answers, treating reporters in a hostile manner, or brazenly lying, she has been truly unique.
