Joe Biden the unifier was in rare form as he spent the final days before the midterm elections which will be the first national referendum on one-party rule, denouncing protesters at an Illinois event where he stumped for candidates as “idiots” in yet another example of the leader of the country’s open contempt for everyone who doesn’t support him.
The geriatric gaffe machine was speaking at a rally at a high school gym in Joliet where he rallied the flock in support of Democrat Rep. Lauren Underwood and accused Republicans of plotting to put Social Security and Medicaid “on the chopping block” when he lashed out at the small group who were holding signs with one saying “Socialism Sucks,” a seeming jab at his policies.
“I love those signs when I came in,” Biden said. “Socialism. Give me a break, what idiots.”

Among other messages on the protester’s signs were “Baby Killer,” “Democrats Hate Cops” and “Where’s Nancy?” a reference to reports that the man who attacked Paul Pelosi was looking for Madame Speaker when he assaulted her husband with a hammer in the couple’s multimillion dollar Pacific Heights mansion last week.

A man of many lies, Biden’s biggest was his deceptive sales pitch to voters that he was a “moderate” and would be a president for the entire nation, a unifying figure at a time of intense political acrimony when the election was over, he immediately began to demonize Trump supporters, vaccine holdouts and everyone else who did not heel to his regime’s authoritarianism, a meanness that fully manifested itself when he appeared in front of a background bathed in blood red lighting at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall and effectively declared that MAGA Republicans were enemies of the state.
Biden: The Republican party today is dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the Maga Republicans and that is a threat to this country… Maga Republicans do not respect the constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. pic.twitter.com/V6EDTOTicT

Biden has constantly vilified Trump supporters and Republicans, stopping just short of calling them subhuman and last week, he delivered the sequel to his deplorable “soul of a nation” diatribe last week at Washington’s Union Station, portraying Trump supporters as enemies of “our democracy” in remarks unfit for a sitting U.S. president.

Twitter users reacted to Biden’s rude remarks about the protesters.
Peaceful protesters showed up at a Biden rally and holding signs.
"I love those signs when I came in," Biden told his audience. "Socialism. Give me a break, what idiots."
I've never heard a President call any Americans "idiots", and I've been through 13 of em. Shameful!

What Biden says about protesters says more about Biden than it does the protesters

So he is also insulting his core base, progressive libs, led by chief bartender AOC. That’s interesting.

He criticizes half of the country and calls them vile, untrue names. What’s a few more?

For a President and political party so committed to diversity and inclusiveness, he and they seem quite intolerant of views other than their own. https://t.co/UIFPJ3hiqU

The old demagogue’s divisive rhetoric will only get worse if as predicted, his deep unpopularity leads to the loss of Democrat control of Congress and there will no longer be anything holding him back from going scorched earth on his political adversaries.
