College removes ‘offensive’ Gadsden, Thin Blue Lives flags. Guess what was allowed to stay up?

Conservative students at a Connecticut college were subjected to the discrimination of the ideologically intolerant left when their freedom of expression was trampled on by having their patriotic and pro-law enforcement flags ripped down after being deemed to be “offensive” and unfit for display while flags representing “woke” leftist causes were allowed to stay up.

Two students at Trinity College, a private liberal arts school in Hartford say that their U.S. flag with the Gadsden snake and the words “Don’t tread on me” along with a Blue Green Red Line flag showing support for the police, military and first responders were removed from outside of their dorm where they were being displayed.

Viral video of the flags being ripped down has been circulating on social media, showing a woman on a ladder being confronted by the students as she invoked the dean’s orders to justify their removal while confiscating their property.

Trinity College, however, has no problem with a similar display of Black Lives Matter, gay “pride” and transgender flags which are not only allowed to be displayed but celebrated by the school on Twitter.

The young men, Finn McCole and Lucas Turco joined Fox News host Jesse Watters on Thursday’s edition of “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the liberal fascism at Trinity – the host’s alma mater – and the double standard that the school’s administration has when it comes to the those who worship at the altar of a Marxist-inspired race cult and embrace sexual deviance while treating traditional American values and love of country as terrible things.

“Have you ever noticed how liberals have a problem with patriotism?” Watters asked viewers at the beginning of the segment. “They want athletes to kneel during the anthem, they want to do away with the pledge, and now apparently, they have a problem with the flag.”

“Other flags are hanging, what kind of flags do they have hanging?” Watters asked his guests.

‘They had LGBTQ flags, they had transgender flags, BLM flags, which we have no problem with any of those flags hanging,” Turco said. “We believe everyone has the right to their opinion and their own beliefs, and that everyone should be able to put their flags up and so me and Finn thought, ‘why don’t we put up some flags that we personally believe in?”‘

McCole then explained what flags they chose to display and what they represented.

‘They said that the reason they were taken down was that some people viewed the flags as offensive and I think it’s an absolute shame that those flags can be offensive when they’re just about loving your country and the people who protect us,” Turco added.

“The removal of two flags outside a Trinity College student residence hall window last week has sparked a conversation across social media about freedom of speech at Trinity,” wrote school president Joanne Berger-Sweeney in an email to students. “As I understand the matter, an apology was issued on the same day of the removal to the students who own the flags for the manner in which the policy was enforced. We will work harder to ensure greater awareness and consistent compliance moving forward.”

“From our conversations with the dean they seemed you know, very open to apologizing with us but it doesn’t change the fact what you saw on the video there,” McCole told Watters. “I mean, it’s a sad state of affairs but you know, we don’t hold hate in our hearts for these people, the incident occurred but we’re open to having productive conversations with them going forward.”
