Judging from the amount of spinning that Democrats and their media foot soldiers are doing over the devastating numbers in the latest New York Times/Siena poll, they were caught completely off guard by the “October surprise” that showed that the American people aren’t buying the false narrative that they’ve been pushing.
One spinmeister, Democrat strategist Kevin Walling tried to run the malarkey by Fox News’s John Roberts that the high profile poll was an “outlier” that didn’t represent the true feelings of voters, but the anchor wasn’t having it and refused to allow the party operative to get away with throwing shade at the results which don’t bode well for his party as it seeks to retain its control over both houses of Congress.

On Thursday’s edition of “America Reports” just 19 days before the most important midterm elections in the nation’s history, Roberts put the Democrat on the spot, asking Walling, “Red wave. Are Democrats headed for higher ground to weather the storm?”
“Listen, Democrats are always the underdogs,” Walling said. “You have the historic trends against us, but what I look at, not necessarily are these polls and you’ve had some outliers in the Siena poll, New York Times poll…,” before Roberts intervened to head the rascal off at the pass.
“WAIT, WAIT, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! Full stop!” exclaimed Roberts as he motioned for a time-out with his hands. “When is a New York Times/Siena poll ever been considered an outlier?”
“It’s fake news,” joked a caught Walling. “It’s fake news, coming from the Democrats.”
“I look at the actual vote numbers right now. Just about five million Americans,” the strategist said, trying to weasel out of it.
“Just about five million Americans have already voted and Democrats have seen their increase in about 2 percent,” added Walling.
“Republicans are down over their early vote numbers from 2018. That shows real enthusiasm. Georgia’s blowing the numbers out when it comes down to early vote down in the Peach State as well,” he said, perhaps inadvertently sticking a fork into the false Democrat talking point that the state’s new election integrity law would depress turnout.
“Imagine that,” Roberts sarcastically replied.
All spin aside, the New York Times/Siena poll hit Democrats hard, especially when it came to the complete collapse of their January 6 “democracy” under assault and GOP “election deniers’ narrative and the news that independents weren’t taking the bait which sucked the wind out of their sails and elicited a panicked response from former White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
“Holy moly siena/NYT poll “more than a third of independent voters and a smaller but noteworthy contingent of Democrats said they were open to supporting candidates who reject the legitimacy of the 2020 election…” as they focus on economic issues,” exclaimed Psaki on Twitter.

The poll’s damning results weren’t only terrible news for Democrats but also for their winged monkeys in the media who fared much worse with an overwhelming 59 percent ranking the corrupt, lying media as a major threat to democracy.
In addition to the 59 percent, another 25 percent believed that the purveyors of hate and misinformation are a minor threat, putting the number who believe that the media is a greater menace than any of the Democratic Party’s bogeymen at a staggering 84 percent.
