Ghislaine Maxwell breaks silence: I feel ‘so bad’ for Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton ‘is another victim’

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is adapting to her new life inside a cushy women’s prison in the Florida panhandle where she is spending her 20-year-sentence in a posh facility that features such amenities as yoga and Pilates and for the first time since she arrived at FCI Tallahassee, she spoke out from behind bars.

In a bombshell exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, the longtime cohort and madam of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who hobnobbed with the rich and powerful including former President Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew dished about life on the inside, detailing her day-to-day existence as well as alleged plots to kill her before her transfer to the Sunshine State this summer.

The 60-year-old socialite turned federal prisoner talked with the outlet’s Daphne Barak who talked to Maxwell both when she was being held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, NY and later after she was moved to “club fed” where she will serve the remainder of her time.

“It’s still jail. It’s very far from a cushy country club, as I have seen it reported. You’re locked up the entire time. When they do let you out for an hour there’s not a chair for everybody in the communal space and no way to watch TV,” Maxwell said.

Maxwell complained about the cramped conditions and the monotony as well as a diminished ability to communicate with the outside world.

“It’s very difficult to get to the phone because up until just a few days ago, there were only two phones that worked,’ she says. ‘Everybody is trying to make calls to their families. So, you know, sometimes you can have a queue.”

She did however say that the cuisine is a vast improvement over the maximum-security New York facility where she was held before and during her trial but wasn’t exactly satisfied with the menu.

“And the food is actually better here by a large margin. Although I can probably tell you, I will be happy never to see an apple. I haven’t seen a piece of fruit except an apple. You think in Florida, at least there’d be an orange. But no,” she said.

Maxwell talked about her “dear friend” Prince Andrew and his ongoing troubles, expressing pity for the Duke of York who has fallen from grace with the royal family.

“Yes, I follow what is happening to him,” she said. “He is paying such a price for the association with Jeffrey Epstein. I care about him, and I feel so bad for him.”

She also spoke of Clinton who was a BFF of Epstein and traveled on his private jet dubbed “Lolita Express” as well as allegedly frolicked with young girls on the financier’s private Caribbean island that has been referred to as “pedo island” and “orgy island” by the locals for the depraved activities that went on at his Little St. James compound, a relationship that was a problem for Hillary’s doomed 2016 White House run which reportedly sought to whitewash the dirty details.

“It was a special friendship, which continued over the years,” Maxwell said of her relationship with Clinton. “We had lots in common. I feel bad that he is another victim, only because of his association with Jeffrey. I understand that he, like others, can no longer consider me as a friend.”

Maxwell also told the Daily Mail that she feels much safer in Florida than she did at MDC “where she felt under constant threat from inmates.”

“As you are aware, there was a woman who made a threat, said she had a plan to murder me as I was sleeping,” she said, noting that there have been claims of a $1 million bounty on her. “But everybody here so far has been extremely professional, and I have not experienced any of the gross violations of my rights that I experienced at MDC.”

“I don’t feel unsafe. And I am perfectly able to live and work here,” Maxwell added.

Her newfound sense of security may be at least partially attributed to a friendship that she struck up with another FCI Tallahassee inmate, notorious killer Narcy Novack.

The 65-year-old former stripper who was sentenced to life in prison in 2012 for her role in the grisly murders of her wealthy hotel heir husband and his mother who were savagely beaten to death in twin 2009 slayings that shocked the nation.

The 60-year-old Maxwell quickly bonded with her fellow inmate, who is feared and respected by the younger women inside, “Because of her length of time inside and the brutality of her crime, she is treated like a female don,” the UK Daily Mirror reported. “All the younger girls address her as ‘Miss Novack’ out of respect.”

“Once inside, Ghislaine gravitated towards Narcy,” the outlet reported. “Together, they spend hours talking, laughing and joking,” having common ground as two criminals of wealth and privilege.

“Ghislaine will have a modicum of protection through her friendship, but given their ages and millionaire backgrounds, they were always destined to get on well,” the Mirror reported.

During Novack’s trial, prosecutors said that she paid her brother and co-defendant Cristobal Veliz,” to hire Miami thugs to assault the victims, both of whom died from brutal beatings. The killers testified that Veliz recruited them and relayed instructions from Novack on how to carry out the killings,” according to the New York Post. “They testified that those instructions included blinding Ben Novack Jr. — his eyes were slashed with a utility knife — and bashing 86-year-old Bernice Novack in the teeth with a plumber’s wrench.”

According to reports, Maxwell’s fellow inmates were rankled when she was quickly awarded a cushy job in the prison’s law library despite her lack of seniority.

“Many of the girls were p***** at how she swanned in and was given such a plum job,” a source told the Mirror. “They joke she has done a Shawshank Redemption and landed on her feet with her library gig.”

“There are girls inside who have washed thousands of floors, peeled thousands of vegetables, done all manner of things, including keeping their noses clean, hoping for such a gig. Yet Ghislaine is gifted it,” one inmate told the outlet.

“I’ve been helping people with anything that is possible,” Maxwell told the Daily Mail. “I look at it as an opportunity to use whatever abilities I have to help the people around me, because some of them really don’t have much.”

“There are many who don’t speak English, who are not educated. By comparison, I have a lot, so I use the skills I have to help them,” she added.
