Candace goes there! Claims being ‘straight white male’ today is like being black during segregation

Conservative commentator Candace Owens rattled cages with her provocative remarks about the cultural shift against white straight males in America’s “woke” revolutionary era, likening the persecuted demographic to black people during the days of segregation.

Owens delivered a speech at a Turning Point USA event at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business in East Lansing on Thursday where she appeared with the organization’s founder, Charlie Kirk, at an event that drew the usual protests from the intolerant leftist rabble that regularly turn out to shut down free speech on the nation’s campuses where it is increasingly dangerous to hold conservative viewpoints.

“We’ve now somehow gotten into a society where people are pretending what we’re doing is equality and it’s not,” Owens said. “If we have ever achieved equality in this country then you wouldn’t blink if anybody says Asian lives matter, no one blinks, black lives matter, no one blinks, white lives matter, they fell apart, right?”

She continued, “They fell apart because they actually – and I will stand by this as much as I possibly can and I will be the loudest voice – the actually worst thing to be in this society, one thing I would not want to be is a straight white male.”

“For some reason, that’s considered problematic. Right?” Owens asked. “You have to be something. It’s like, people lie, they’re lying on college applications. They’re like, ‘Okay, I’m white, but I’m also trans.’ And you’re like, ‘What? Why are you pretending?’ Because, ‘Oh, I don’t want people to think I’m too normal,’ right? And people, you know, they’re just trying to find something that makes them not white, right?”

“And it’s really staggering to think that once upon a time, that is exactly what the experience was for a black American,” she said. “That being a black American was so problematic that you weren’t going to be allowed into the room. Now you have the exact same thing happening in reverse, and you have liberals trying to convince you that that’s equality. It’s not. All lives matter. And that’s including white lives matter, you know?”

The Daily Wire regular stuck to the theme of “White Lives Matter” which are three words that drive the cultural jihadists of the “woke” left to fits of rage, like she did when appearing with rapper Kanye West at a recent Paris fashion show clad in gear with the slogan that to leftists, is like holding a mirror up to vampires.

Efforts to shut down the event were futile despite the boisterous presence of anti-free speech campus commies.

“Candace Owens and Turning Point, quite frankly, are dangerous,” declared comparative cultures and politics sophomore Jesse Estrada, a member of the MSU chapter of Students United Against Fascism, a name as completely lacking in self-awareness as the group’s knowledge of the principles put forth in the U.S. Constitution.

“They spread hate speech. The university won’t call it that, but … Candace Owens helped make a name for herself off of like saying trans people shouldn’t exist or being trans isn’t a real thing and just like denying their very existence … it brings violence and hatred towards those communities and so we’re here to show that’s not acceptable on our campus,” Estrada said.
