Ex-Capitol police officer Michael Fanone has released a new book the left is drooling over that claims Republican Senator Lindsey Graham told him that he should have shot Trump supporters who were rioting on Jan. 6 in the head.
Fanone worked for the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia from 2001 until 2021. He has since quit the force and is now, unsurprisingly, a contributor for CNN. The former officer appears to be capitalizing on the Jan. 6 incident after leaving the force and is using Graham as part of his storyline.
He claims that the South Carolina politician made the comment to him four months after the riot in May 2021 when they first met, according to the Daily Mail.
“You guys should have shot them all in the head,” Fanone recounted in his memoir, “Hold the Line: The Insurrection and One Cop’s Battle for America’s Soul,” which comes out on October 11. “We gave you guys guns, and you should have used them. I don’t understand why that didn’t happen.”

Following the riot, Graham did not espouse that view at all, at least in public. Although he charged that Biden was duly elected, he also said that he understood the other side’s point of view.
Graham took a middle-of-the-road, non-combative stance.

The Washinton Post has also reported previously that “He yelled at the Senate sergeant-at-arms. ‘What are you doing? Take back the Senate! You’ve got guns. Use them!‘”
Fanone writes that he told Graham that Capitol police officers have to abide by certain rules, preventing them from using deadly force on crowds. The meeting ostensibly involved Fanone seeking Republican support for a bill calling for an independent investigation into the January 6 incident.
Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn and the family of Brian Sicknick were also at the meeting where Fanone and Graham met, according to the Daily Mail. Sicknick was an officer who died the day after the riot allegedly from two strokes and not from anything that occurred on Jan. 6.

Sicknick reportedly suffered a heart attack and a traumatic brain injury after being stun-gunned and beaten up with a flagpole during the riot.
Fanone is the same officer who secretly taped a meeting with House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy.
According to Politico, McCarthy attempted to downplay the Capitol riots, which he then called “not just shocking but disgraceful.”
He told Rolling Stone that McCarthy was a “f***ing weasel b****” in an explosive, highly partisan interview.

Fanone claims he is a “lifelong Republican.” His actions show otherwise despite the fact that he says he was a supporter of former President Trump and voted for him in the 2016 United States presidential election.
The rioter who allegedly assaulted Fanone was sentenced to seven years in prison by a D.C. judge on Wednesday.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson described Kyle Young as a “one-man wrecking ball” on January 6. He was given one of the most severe and longest sentences of those who have been tried in connection to the Jan. 6 riot.
