WH spox ‘clarifies’ Biden’s scary remarks on nuclear Armageddon

President Joe Biden has been far from the calming influence on the nation during tumultuous times as it was falsely claimed during his White House campaign, in reality, it has been the exact opposite and on Thursday, he conjured visions of nuclear apocalypse with his scary remarks that Armageddon is more likely today than it has been in six decades.

On Thursday, the increasingly erratic 79-year-old whose regime has become embroiled in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine – a bloody war fueled by centuries of simmering ethnic hatreds – delivered his ominous remarks that “We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” referring to the 1962 crisis when President John F. Kennedy stared down the Soviet Union with the threat of nuclear annihilation a very real possibility during a Democrat Party fundraising event.

Like with so many of Biden’s other disturbing diatribes, the White House was forced into wet mop cleanup mode after dear leader scared the bejesus out of the country in the weeks before the midterm elections, with White House spox Karine Jean-Pierre dutifully defending her boss’s terrifying remarks while also clarifying them during a Friday press gaggle with reporters onboard Air Force One.

“We have not seen any reason to adjust our own strategic nuclear posture, nor do we have indications that Russia is preparing to imminently use nuclear weapons,” Jean-Pierre told reporters when she was pressed on Biden’s comments.

“The kind of irresponsible rhetoric we have seen is no way for the leader of a nuclear-armed state to speak, and that’s what the president was making very clear,” KJP added, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

CNN cited a number of unnamed officials who sought to downplay the doomsday scenario that Biden spoke of during his speech to the high rollers.

“There simply isn’t much – if any – precedent in the last six decades of a president so bluntly warning of looming catastrophe. The divergence in tone between Biden and his top national security officials is striking, with the President moving sharply away from the coordinated effort to calmly warn against saber rattling, but not rhetorically escalate anything,” the outlet reported. “Yet Biden’s remarks, as one official noted, do reflect reality – a reality that may be difficult to grasp due to the combination of a far-off war and a post-Cold War era when nuclear threats have simply disappeared from daily risks. Those risks have grown acutely in the last eight months, even if there is no tangible evidence Putin has made concrete moves in that direction.”

The “leader” of the free world himself wasn’t up elaborating on his apocalyptic conjecture, sprinting away from reporters on the White House lawn as they shouted their questions on his latest in an ever-growing collection of troubling comments that do anything but instill confidence that the adults are back in charge.

The crew at “Outnumbered” discussed Biden’s warning of Armageddon during Friday’s edition of the popular Fox News daytime show.

“To your point about the freestyling, we rely on our commander-in-chief and the President of the United States to be diplomatic, meaning relying on his cadre of diplomats to do that behind-the-scenes negotiation for him,” said co-host Emily Compagno. “And also, wouldn’t that be more appropriate for the State of the Union address, for something coming out of the Oval Office – somewhere big, If he is really going to invoke Armageddon rather than a Democratic elected official fundraiser at a private home?”

“And once again, the White House and his team has to clean up. They have to walk back. In fact, CNN reporting that a senior defense official expressed surprise, saying we haven’t had signs actually of any escalation whatsoever. So not only did he sort of put another one in the lane of his minor incursion gaffe and that this guy cannot remain in power gaffe,” she added. “But now he actually invoked Armageddon, which is horrifying. And again, the American people are left to be surprised, afraid, and then, oh, wait, he didn’t mean it per the White House.”

“Biden’s comments about the prospect of nuclear Armageddon were not scripted and aides back in Washington first learned about his remarks through news reports and dispatches from the press pool in the room,” CNN reported.
