Kellyanne Conway says biased pollsters are undercounting Trump voters, GOP headed for ‘tsunami’ win

With the most important midterm elections in the nation’s history now less than five weeks away, Kellyanne Conway is highly optimistic that Republicans will retake both houses of Congress in a red wave that will flush away Democrats on a tide of their own failures and extremist policies.

Conway, who served as senior counselor to former President Donald J. Trump and is a Fox News contributor, joined host Jesse Watters on Wednesday’s edition of “Jesse Watters Primetime” where she delivered her expert analysis on the elections which will either save America or further empower the Biden regime.

After commenting on gas prices which have once again started to go back up despite President Joe Biden’s draining of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, jeopardizing national security for the sake of cynical political maneuvering and the punch to the gut of OPEC’s decision to drastically cut production, Watters turned the floor over to Conway.

“I think that when you drain the reserves for an illegitimate purpose, for political reasons, for poor policy outcomes, you are putting our national security at risk,” she said after pointing out that Biden’s recent trip to beg the Saudis for more oil was a complete failure.

“So the strategic petroleum reserves as you know has been tapped after Hurricane Katrina,” she added. “It’s been tapped during the Gulf War, for example. Now it’s going to be tapped because an American president who has no energy plan and frankly has no energy at all, has gotten us into this situation. And, you know, just because Joe Biden has no gas left in the tank doesn’t mean the rest of us shouldn’t.”

“And I will tell you who is really going to be angry with him, Jesse. These Democratic candidates in really tight races because nothing sort of angers people and it has visible of a policy failure to people as rising gas and grocery prices. People think everyday life is increasingly unaffordable, insecure and less safe under Joe Biden’s America and they are going to punish his candidates for that reason,” she said.

Conway later turned to polling which she suggested is inaccurate due to the bias of pollsters who undercount conservative voters, particularly Trump supporters, in responding to Watters who asked whether the GOP could see a “tsunami” victory.

“Oh, I think we are looking at a big Republican day in large part because they only need five seats, four or five seats in the House and they just need a few in the Senate,” she said. They’ll get both. I think they’ll take over both and maybe win a couple governorships and state legislatures as well.”

“Those polls always undercount the strength of the Trump-Pence voter, the center-right voter,” she continued. “Those pollsters then say ‘oopsy we’re sorry we got it wrong we’ll get it right next time,’ and they don’t. You know why, Jesse? Because we never deeply examine that which we deeply disdain.”

“They don’t necessarily know anybody like that or care about people like that,” she said. “They want — look, the Democrats want this election to be about climate change, you heard the foolishness of the president today who somehow got bamboozled into standing next to Ron and Casey DeSantis,” referring to Biden’s remarks about climate change’s effects while touring areas of Florida that were devastated by Hurricane Ian.

“Boy, that’s a problem for Joe Biden, DeSantis is doing a heck of a job as the governor, really deploying resources and getting stuff done,” Conway said. “It’s going to hurt the Democrats because, also, the Commitment To America the Republicans put out takes on energy full square. They address gas prices and energy production, they have a plan very specific about it.”

Last week, Conway laid out the GOP’s roadmap to a “monster victory” in the midterms if they stay on topic and make the Democrats “eat and own” Biden’s impressive collection of failures.

“Now, the key to Republicans just squeaking by with a few seats and maybe a 50-50 Senate and a 51-49 Senate and having a monster night is this,” Conway said during a conversation with Sean Hannity, laying out the path to a resounding win if followed.

“Having an affirmative positive message that’s doable, accessible, and actionable,” she explained. “The Commitment to America, a nation that is safe, an economy that is strong, a government that is accountable, and a future that is free.”
