Steve Hilton: ‘Woke’ Big Tech actively supports those trying to ‘sexualize children’ by censoring opposition

On Sunday, Steve Hilton of Fox News’ “The Next Revolution” was joined by radio personality Clay Travis and Gays Against Groomers founder Jaimee Michell for a discussion on the role of big tech in censoring political opposition.

“I’m not sure I can think of anything worse than actively supporting those who are trying to prematurely sexualize children, but that’s what Big Tech has now decided to do,” Hilton began.

He accused PayPal and Venmo of shutting down the account for “Gays Against Groomers” in the latest capitulation to the powers in charge of virtue signaling and the hierarchy of victim status.

“In the hierarchy of wokeism, trans is at the top,” he declared,  “and it’s never too young to start.”

Michell spoke in defense of her group’s mission.

“Thank you for having me on, and that opener was just so spot-on. No, we are not anti-trans. We actually have multiple trans people in our organization, and about a week ago, we launched a partner coalition called “Trans Against Groomers” because we had so many trans people coming to us saying, ‘I want to be a part of this. How can I help?’ Within two days of that launching, Twitter banned it.”

Google was not to be left behind. The headline of an article with no byline from The Advocate actually read, “Google Bans Anti-Trans Hate Group Gays Against Groomers.”

She added that her organization does not care about what decisions adults make.

“Obviously, we are not homophobic. We are not trans-phobic. We literally just don’t want this happening to children, and especially not being done in our name. The backlash against us is growing. All we wanted were equal rights, and the activists, the radical woke mob has hijacked our community.”

To Michell’s point, Travis offered his take, saying, “It’s no doubt. Actually, they’ve hijacked the mob against something that everyone; gay, straight, black, white, Asian, Hispanic; parents of all ages and people of all ages would actually agree with, which is: You can’t get a tattoo until you are 18 years old, you can’t buy a beer until you are 21, and many places don’t allow you to rent a car until you’re 25.”

“Yet, we are allowing hospitals to operate on 14 and 15-year-olds and change their bodies forever? If you are 18 years old, whether we like it or not, you are an adult, and sometimes adults make decisions we might not agree with.”

Travis concluded, “If people want to make decisions as an adult, that is fine, but this idea that we have somehow mainstreamed 14 and 15-year-olds’ puberty blockers, all of the things that these hospitals are treating kids for now is wildly rejected by overwhelming majorities of people.”
