Nikki Haley hits back after Sunny Hostin’s ‘racist’ smear on her prompts most absurd segment

Sunny Hostin has a tongue like a whip and a one-track mind that is fixated on racial grievance but “The View” co-host may have bitten off more than she can chew with her racist insult of former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

During Tuesday’s edition of the ABC daytime program, the ladies at the table were engaging in a lively conversation about potential GOP challengers to former President Donald J. Trump  in 2024 until Hostin felt obligated to throw down the race card about Haley.

New conservative regular co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin stated that Haley was an “incredibly effective” governor during her time at the helm of the Palmetto State, drawing a snide remark from Hostin who dissed her as a “chameleon” and asked, “what is her real name again?”

Haley’s birth name is Nimrata Nikki Randhawa.

After Hostin strongly suggested that Haley was a race traitor, Griffin responded.

“Just real quick because the Nikki Haley conversation came up. So, Nikki Haley’s gone by Nikki since she was a child. It’s documented in high school. I wouldn’t be shocked that somebody, an Indian woman growing up in South Carolina at that time, she actually did that to avoid prejudice. So I just want to be careful about critiquing her for going by,” she said.

 

Hostin wasn’t having it, “There are some of us that can be chameleons and decide not to embrace our ethnicity so we can pass…”

“You go by a different name,” interjected co-host Sara Haines, correctly pointing out that the brazen hypocrisy of Asunción Cummings Hostin.

“I didn’t want to be the one to say it,” Griffin added.

Hostin then double-down on race replying that dumb “Americans can’t pronounce Asunción.”

Haley hit back hard on social media with a scathing response to Hostin that left a mark.

“Thanks for your concern @Sunny. It’s racist of you to judge my name,” she wrote on Twitter. “Nikki is an Indian name and is on my birth certificate—and I’m proud of that.”

“What’s sad is the left’s hypocrisy towards conservative minorities,” she added. “By the way, last I checked Sunny isn’t your birth name…”

Twitter users flogged Asunción Cummings Hostin over the latest addition to her extensive history of racist remarks.

“I wonder what Caryn Elaine Johnson thought about that question,” wrote writer Jeryl Bier, dropping co-host Whoopi Goldberg’s real name.

Hostin is a poster child for the left’s flaming hypocrisy, both on racism and as has now been brilliantly exposed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, on illegal immigration as well. In fact, it is the coin of the realm for the Democratic Party and their cadre of mouthy media operatives.
