White House spurs speculation when it overrules Biden on pandemic being over: ‘He is not in charge’

President Joe Biden’s declaration of victory over COVID when he said that the pandemic was over triggered leftist dead-enders who bitterly cling to their masks and mandates and brought yet another correction from the White House that contradicted him while further confirming suspicions that he isn’t the one running the show.

During a “60 Minutes” interview with CBS anchor Scott Pelley that aired on Sunday, Biden clearly stated, “the pandemic is over,” while strolling through the Detroit Auto Show where he made another pitch for the forced conversion to electric vehicles last week.

“We still have a problem with COVID. We’re still doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over,” Biden added, drawing howls of protest from angry leftists on Twitter as well as the White House quickly walking back what he said.

In a rebuke of the nation’s supposed leader the day after the interview was broadcast on national television, an unnamed administration official told CNN that “the President’s comments do not mark a change in policy toward the administration’s handling of the virus, and there are no plans to lift the Public Health Emergency, which has been in place since January 2020 and is currently extended through October 13.”

Nothing has benefited the political left and specifically the Democratic Party as much as COVID has, giving the party a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cloak their extreme agenda that could have never been implemented under normal conditions in the guise of a public health crisis, giving the party free rein to cram through obscenely costly legislation, imbue themselves with authoritarian powers outside of the restraints of the Constitution and bludgeon their political opposition by accusing them of putting the lives of Americans in danger.

It would make sense to many that the White House would overrule Biden for going rogue on “60 Minutes,” especially with the midterm elections less than two months away and the state of emergency being the most butt-kicking club in the bag.

However, the White House reaction only served to further expose the Potemkin Village that is Biden’s presidency and Twitter users brought the heat.

“He is not in charge,” tweeted conservative commentator Stephen Miller.

“It wasn’t a gaffe. It wasn’t a slip. He said it pretty definitely twice. In the same interview he dared anyone who questioned his mental fitness. Here’s the example. Right here,” Miller added, “Biden reportedly complains that he looks weak. This is why. His own administration undercuts him every time he opens his mouth. Is he in charge or not?”

Other reactions to Ron Klain’s yanking on Biden’s choke chain.

It’s understandable that Biden – who caught the virus despite being multiple-jabbed and boosted – would want the pandemic which has disrupted the lives of Americans to be done and over with, but there is no way that the Democrats are ever going to willingly relinquish their ultimate trump card.
