Trump makes surprise trip to DC for a round of golf and indictment speculation goes WILD

The left’s boundless levels of depravity and Trump derangement were on full display Sunday night as their obsession with misfortune befalling the former president gave rise to mass speculation when he unexpectedly arrived in Washington, D.C.

The same collective think tank that has assured time and again that the walls were closing in on former President Donald Trump with tales of Russian collusion and believed inevitable indictments became social media sleuths after a YouTuber posted a video with the Republican leader departing a private plane at Dulles International Airport.

Since leaving office, Trump has only returned to the nation’s capital one time when he spoke at the America First Agenda Summit in July and Sunday, Andrew Leyden captured the president in what was described by many as golf attire on his second return to D.C. out of the blue.

“Donald Trump has just landed at Dulles Airport this evening,” Leyden captioned an image from his video.

Keeping his personal itinerary unknown to the public equated to an unplanned trip for Trump fueling fever dreams-logic chains like one posed by Princeton alum and President Joe Biden sycophant Lindy Li who wrote, “Trump is in DC with his golf shoes on–Which means that he wasn’t able to go home & change–Which means he was plucked from the golf course mid-game–Which means this was unplanned and he doesn’t have full control of the narrative–So is this a medical emergency or a legal one?

The speculation even included a close-up of Leyden’s image suggesting that Trump, who is clearly seen in the video getting off the plane unfettered, claiming “You can’t see his hands either so we don’t know if his hands are behind his back! Cuffed maybe?”

CNN reported that Trump was simply in town to golf — Dulles is not far from the Trump National Golf Club — but that didn’t dull the suspicion of some.

User BrooklynDad_Defiant! wrote, “Good morning and Happy Monday to everyone who woke up today expecting more information as to why trump is in DC (arrest, Walter Reed) on a surprise trip in his golf cleats, but found most news sources strangely focused elsewhere.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s legal team took a shot at the Justice Department Monday following last week’s victory with the granting of a special master review of documents seized by the FBI at Mar-a-Lago with a 21-page filing that, according to the Daily Mail, stated in part, “In what at its core is a document storage dispute that has spiraled out of control, the Government wrongfully seeks to criminalize the possession by the 45th President of his own Presidential and personal records.”

The DOJ appealed the appointment of the special master, but Trump’s attorneys are challenging that, arguing Judge Aileen Cannon’s decision was a “sensible preliminary step towards restoring order from chaos.”

“What is clear regarding all of the seized materials is that they belong with either President Trump (as his personal property to be returned pursuant to Rule 41(g)) or with NARA, but not with the Department of Justice,” the filing added.

It remains to be seen why Trump traveled to D.C. and outlets have contacted the president for comment.
