Joe Biden reversed field on Friday, the day after possibly the most dangerous and divisive speech ever delivered by a U.S. president, one that left some drawing comparisons to a certain leader of the Third Reich who shall remain unnamed or at least the evil dictator from the dystopian sci-fi movie “V for Vendetta,” denying that he believes that Trump supporters are a threat to the nation.
Less than 24 hours after the angry demagogue spoke before a creepy blood-red background with two U.S. Marines in the background, railing against Republicans who he effectively designated as enemies of the state, the 79-year-old Biden was pressed on his remarks by Fox News bulldog reporter Peter Doocy at a Friday event on the White House campus.

“Mr. President, do you consider all Trump supporters to be a threat to the country?” Doocy asked.
“Come on, look, guys, you keep on and make that case,” Biden responded. “I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat to the country. I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence, fails to condemn violence or who refuses to acknowledge an election has been won, who insists upon changing the way and the rules with which to count votes, that is a threat to democracy.”
“Democracy. Everything we stand for, everything we stand for rests on the platform of democracy,” he added, using the word that has been hijacked and bastardized to mean every single piece of the fully-radicalized Democratic Party’s extremist agenda.
“When people voted for Donald Trump and support him now, they weren’t voting for attacking the Capitol, they weren’t voting for overruling the elections. They were voting for a philosophy he put forward,” he added. “So I am not talking about anything other than it is inappropriate, and it is not only happening here but other parts of the world, whether it’s a failure to recognize to condemn violence whenever it’s used for political purposes, failure to condemn the attempt to manipulate election outcomes, failure to acknowledge when elections were won or lost. Thank you.”
Just as when he falsely presented himself as a man who would be a unifier, Biden is once again lying and he made his feelings very clear in this Thursday night address to the nation.
“As I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise,” he ranted. “There’s no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. And that is a threat to this country.”

Before his nasty and disturbing tirade against Americans who dared to vote for the “wrong” candidate, he also made his feelings known via Twitter.
“Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country,” the divider in chief wrote on Thursday.

Perhaps even more troubling than Biden’s words was the reaction from the worst elements of American society whose contempt for longstanding principles of freedom, liberty and equal justice under the law is no longer concealed. They enthusiastically applauded their leader’s declaration of open war on Trump’s supporters, a dog whistle that could soon lead the country down a very dark road with ominous historic parallels.
