Ohio Dem breaks with Biden in attack ad despite voting in lockstep with president’s agenda

Top congressional Democrats are so addicted to power that they continue to cling to their positions of personal enrichment and influence well into old age and 76-year-old Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur is so determined to stay in office that she has resorted to running negative ads against President Joe Biden to dupe voters into believing that she hasn’t been in lockstep when it comes to supporting his ruinous policies.

Kaptur, who was first elected to Congress in 1982, a full two years before fellow fossil Dr. Anthony S. Fauci assumed his job at the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is seeking to maintain a stranglehold on her seat but must first fend off a challenge from America First GOP candidate JR Majewski, a Trump-endorsed military veteran in a tough contest in a recently redrawn district.

“Joe Biden’s letting Ohio solar manufacturers be undercut by China. But Marcy Kaptur’s fighting back, working with Republican Rob Portman. Protecting our jobs. Communist China’s not happy,” the 30-second ad says. “Neither is extremist J.R. Majewski. He opposes Marcy’s all-of-the-above energy plan. Majewski let Ohio energy jobs die, but Marcy fights for every Ohio job. Marcy Kaptur: She doesn’t work for Joe Biden. She works for you.”

It’s completely understandable for Dems to want to distance themselves from the deeply unpopular Biden whose handlers have kept him out of the public eye for nearly a month while the White House and its lackeys in the media do the heavy lifting to reboot the narrative, and any liberal who is running in a competitive district would be wise to avoid mentioning him because regardless of the triumphant, reborn leader that is now being portrayed by the spinmeisters, voters get a reminder of his failed policies every time they go to the grocery store.

There is however one problem with Kaptur’s anti-Biden ad and and it’s a significant one; she was for him before she was against him.

Twitter users had little trouble digging up a clip of Kaptur expressing a strong positive sentiment to Biden, with the masked congresswoman standing in front of a podium with the globalist “Build Back Better” slogan emblazoned across it and saying that, “It will be my honor to not just vote for Joe Biden but to work for him,” a rebuttal of her own campaign ad with words directly from the horse’s mouth.

In addition, there has been no distance whatsoever with Kaptur’s voting record which shows unwavering support for Biden’s extremist agenda, most recently for the Orwellian-named “Inflation Reduction Act” which raises taxes in the midst of a recession and will send energy costs into the stratosphere once the Green New Deal provisions are implemented.

Rep. Kaptur didn’t bother mentioning those 87,000 new IRS agents who will be unleashed on the middle class, including her own constituents who she stabbed in the back.

It came as no great surprise that her GOP opponent pounced on the resurfaced clip.

“The people of #OH09 know @Marcy_Kaptur works for @JoeBiden despite her dishonest ads,” Majewski wrote on Twitter. “Marcy’s had 40 years to stand against her party by virtue of her vote. However, time after time, she’s voted with Joe and @SpeakerPelosi.”

“Don’t blame them now Marcy. You had your opportunity,” he added.

“No one believes Marcy Kaptur is standing up to Joe Biden, “said National Republican Congressional Committee Spokeswoman Courtney Parella. “Kaptur has voted for Biden’s agenda 100% of the time, and her outright lies show she’s desperate to distance herself from a toxic president and her own failed record for Ohioans.”

Whether voters will take offense of how little regard that Kaptur has for their intelligence remains to be seen but her dishonest ad speaks volumes about the content of her character.
